If I may provide a bit of advice with these, I have the same kit, minus power steering, and I strongly suggest lock-tite on the water pump. Mine came loose just this month, even if it was properly tightened in the first place. I also had to keep the stock alternator pulley because the alternator-side face of the aluminum one is flat, while the stock one is a bit concave. It was touching the housing.
Oh and check your water pump, there are two models here in Aus, a bolt-on pulley (the one you want), and a pressed-on pulley (the one I've got on both my EP and my 5E)...

Happy birthday.
Now that that's settled, SHOW US A PAINTED STARLET!!!!!!!!!!! -
A few more shots

Is it just me or that picture is beautiful?
The Baleno is gone, I kept the speedlines and still made a 300% profit on the car...
I couldn't find replacement center caps in the proper size, so I ordered TRD ones on eBay, along with black steel closed end lug nuts.

Is it driving yet?

It's the bumper part I was interested in... It's kinda missing.
I'll ask away in a new thread then, cheers -
Sorry to revive this, but Daniel would you have a pic of the bumper where it's bolted under the boot? On the corner of the bezel?
There you go, see how the lights come further down than normal EP91 lights.

If they were in a Paseo, they should bolt on...

It's like a german putting the Nazi sign on his car... Does no one know what it means?
The rising-sun flag has been the symbol of Japan's militaristic imperialism, and still serves to be the symbol of Japanese Self-Defense Forces. However, there are recent phenomena to utilize the symbol in fashion or in international sporting events although it is considered extremely offensive in countries of former Japanese imperialism as it reminds Japan's former war crimes.

Just dropping my driveway pic...

I just can't believe Japanese people let them do that to the bonnet... I'm speechless.

My headlights are awesome. Don't drive much at night, only once a week, but I had them on for the last couple. Massive difference and no hassle from anyone about blinding or glaring. I cannot stress enough about doing it the right way, don't just put an illegal plug and play kit in there.

Job done. Everything is hooked up, DRL working on ignition except when HID's are on, high beam fuse replaced (the stock 10A couldn't take the load), I even reconnected the spotties...

love the new avatar
LMAO really? no "nice the car is back on the road" or "great find on the wheels"???
But yes it is a nice picture

Got a sweet sweet deal this week. A coworker's friend got a 1999 Suzuki Baleno for free for her son to learn to drive with. I had to do an inspection on it to make sure it was road worthy, long story short it wasn't. I was told that she'd get rid of the car so I said I was interested in some parts.
So $50 later, I'm the owner of a now unregistered Baleno rocking 4 (maybe even 5) of these:
(NOT my pic)
and I'll get $80 back for the car at the wreckers... -
I get my HID stuff from eBay. cheap to replace,

Please?

MY CAR IS BACK HOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally. Got the rear main replaced, did most of it Saturday, finished before work on Monday morning. Started it, Rev'd it... the welds on the muffler inlet gave up................................................................ I guess the many removals/hanging/reinstall of the exhaust pipe were too much for a 18 years old exhaust.
So tonight before leaving, I brought both Starlets in the workshop and swapped the boxes. Good news is I also received my new flex pipe, Cat converter and back box. I'll be dropping my 4E, Harry's manifold and the supercharger to TJM next weekend, so a new exhaust won't take too long to be fitted. -
My future color, Moonlight blue (code I2 from KIA):
I'm in Australia, so feel free to use it, you'd still be unique on your side of the planet lol

I can't seem to find the answer for this, how do you remove the rear window washer nozzle without breaking it? There's no access from behind, and I don't want to just pull if it's going to break it... I'll be reusing it.
Thanks -
I had to replace crank, cam and rear main two months after my swap. Went with Toyota seals this time.

First time trying new headlights...
They aim too high, but they're not adjusted yet.

I showed up at work last weekend to replaced my rear main (about time!), only to find I wouldn't have enough time, and no hoist to work on it.
But as I was talking with the guy who's gonna make my extractors, I would need a flange and if I sourced it myself it would be much cheaper than him having one laser cut. So I made a first stop to the scrapyard, scored a 11mm thick plate big enough to do either a one piece flange or in halves like the stock one.
Later on, I went to Harry's (Staret) to pick up the stock manifold from his N/A engine, really a nice one he got there, just a shame the FTE block has a hole in it...
I will reuse the stock manifold flange for the extractor, already agreed with the fabricator that he'd get my 4E to work on, so half flanges will still be straight, no worries. I'm in talk now about having him do my S/C bracket, my bar bending and lack of equipment isn't really working out...
Bodywise, I finished removing the chrome rings on the driver's tail light, sanded it all and did a first coat of primer. Did a coat on my front bumper as well, mostly to even out the colors and see the defects before sanding and filling.Good news is I'll be ready for the seal Saturday. I'll have the hoist and the time. The car will most likely be on the hoist Friday night, likely without front wheels ready for gearbox extraction in the morning.
I also received silcone couplings, BOV and a new headunit.Cheap ebay brand name replica BOV turned out to be a real HKS SSQV. I might have bought stolen property

I thought I'd say hi,
I don't mind it either, and I guess he sees at least one decent EP when I drive mine in...
