a little something for the back end
Butt-plug?
I gave you that in confidence

Being a bit self-appreciative aren't we Faisal? It's not like I advertised the fact I dealt with such a level-headed, non-impulsive man like yourself - don't actually know what you think you have achieved on my behalf by buying a plethora parts off of me (and then attempting to sell them on at marked up prices). There are no guarantee clauses for used items, even less so when you do not take any due care to ask for simple details like "Can he inspect the turbocharger" and so on - you just bought as you saw, and kept adding more to the list. What would you do if those ECU's didn't work, my fault as well? As somehow from Yahoo to going to your hands they passed through my evil hands of bad intentions right?
It's not nice to hear that this has happened, though then again, your seemingly skewed rationale could alter outlooks slightly, and its even worse to see the kind of mindset and behaviour you exhibit and still continue to do so in such a scenario.

Precisely why when I received it I claimed it "LOOKED" new, based on the above illustration.
The issue here is not who is to blame, but that blame is being apportioned at all, when no due care was taken in the purchase of the manifold. At all. Yet Faisal expects somehow a guarantee for his ignorance.
You've already just clarified some quick pointers based on some blurry pictures at the top. Faisal asked nothing. Yet apparently made himself believe he was getting a New/Used HRF Turbocharger Kit, with a New manifold but used wastegate, turbocharger, exhaust system, GASKETS & Hardware (used gaskets & hardware, new manifold? Hmm) and so on.
-
You're not blocked, and you've made your "issue" plenty public thus far. The manifold never was, never has, and never will in future be stated as sold as new - the whole kit, had 20,000km usage, this was posted, clear to see - unfortunately it seems that closed threads on the forum are purged so verification will be wanting, though I'm sure you'd rush to claim that I have the ability to edit the contents of the thread. The only thing I mentioned on receipt of the kit from Japan was "The manifold looks new, it shows so little use". I didn't not say "z0MG ITS NEW". You can clutch at your straws as you wish.
You bought the kit, as seen. You never asked for details, you never asked for the contact to check its physical status/provenance, you never asked for any further details of its usage. Furthermore, you persist in your childish accusations of a persons' credibility without having any facts, only hearsay, perhaps in a manner to grab a cheap laugh, and I'm presuming just so you can keep fooling yourself into thinking you have no responsibility in what apparently transpired.
You don't seem to be lucky in purchasing turbocharger kits though, what, with the former debacle you kicked up with Kingyglanza - is everyone out there to con you Faisal, or do you just buy blindly, blame later?
Several people have mentioned the questionable durability sometimes found with Japanese Stainless manifolds in this thread alone, did you miss the memorandum when this information was forwarded out? The runners on your manifold are braced with those tabs, but the exhaust wastegate pipe wasn't, as is usual with these Japanese manifolds, did you bother having it braced? Or did you just buy everything, waiting for something to go wrong to spring this on me, nearly a year down the line? Waste more time that you have already wasted of mine in the past?
Manifold looks well weathered as well, did you leave it out for these few months? Looks a far cry from this:
I'm not quite sure what kind of guarantee you are looking for when you bought a used turbocharger kit, failed to apparently read the details on usage, and were completely oblivious to the notion of finding out more details of the items you were going to spend a large amount of capitol on. I must say I'm not careful with my money, but even I make some efforts towards finding the provenance of what I'm buying and knowing what it is that I am buying.
-
New manifold? So when you read "20,000km use", that means new? Ok.
Figured you like to make things public for shock value Faisal
-
Should have had it re-done in Inconel, I doubt Faisal would have been happy until then, but what can you do
I would have had it ceramic coated and further braced for piece of mind, but some people prefer just going for brevity of purchase rather than going through the correct protocols of knowing what they're buying.
If I remember right, Fishy's HRF Manifold cracked in basically the same spot too?
-
It's an HRF manifold, and obviously Faisal flinging blame as usual. Luck of the draw with these thin wall stainless manifolds really, some last, some don't - that one was well braced too, from what I saw
-
600HP, claimed. Then broken.

I'm sold on the Blue CV Joint Boots. DONE.

Toby's ones were almost another £1000 on top from memory?

Manifailed?

Yeah - and imagine the fun when I have to PM 40 Angry cambelt cover buyers at once. O_o
Enzo, fix it pl0z! It's so of the gay. Which should normally appeal to me, but this is beyond gay. It's. Gay squared?

Neither are available new - the C's are particularly hard to find. The TRD is probably shorter as the shaft is bent towards the driver, and thus falls better to hand, the C's is just a straight shaft
-
They are very nice to use, especially with the weighted gearknob - a stiff but slick movement, not terribly short, but pretty decisive. I prefer my C's Short Shifter; it's a bit more slack, but it is a very mechanical movement.
-
Yup - its basically an option to have the Viscous LSD from Factory in Japan, not in the UK. Gain - traction. Traction when accelerating, traction when cornering, and the greatest benefit to me, traction in adverse weather. I LOVED how I could actually get somewhere in the snow, and not give up and die like the rest of England, seemingly!

thats a picture
Picture's speak many words ^-^

Wintersports? One word:
-
Long shot, I have an LSD Gearbox from my Cynos possibly for sale - not much use on a stock Paseo, but, still luls the amount of grip you gain from it
-
You're missing a key ingredient. The clear cambelt cover.
The dyno will explode.

For the bodykits, you'll find most are defunct now, apart from a couple of the German ones - I would think some of the major ones are fine to buy from as a lot of their kits are around in Holland and Germany
