OK latest update. Due to some issues with the head unit I had put in it had to be replaced. So I managed to blag an upgrade for free! Went for the next model up. Again thanks go to the wonderful people at Audio Advice again. Advantages of this head unit are an extra control on the subwoofer level from the unit, a flip down screen to reveal the CD unit, and also the USB connection is now concealed within the glovebox.

Lol well there is faster in the garage but Ill leave the true monsters for now just to heighten the anticipation lol. And Rick to be fair to the wee car she is ridiculously reliable. I mean like scarily! I know its French and should therefore kinda fall apart and break repeatedly but this one is surprisingly good so far lol.

Actually CalGT has it lol. Good old Wikipedia which I never thought to check. 'A Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) is the maximum allowable total mass of a fully loaded motor vehicle, consisting of the tare mass (mass of the vehicle) plus the load (including passengers).' So that is actually the weight of the car plus I guess 5 people making the actual weight more like 1045kg. So it was my bad in the first place lol.

Reliability issues I guess? Although this has been surprisingly good with no failures so far. Only one issue which was a belt snapping but that was routine and my Dad chose to let it break rather than fix it so he could keep going on the track lol.

Lol well I know the EP82 is definately lighter than the Ep91... Although thats based on my confusing weight figures lol. I do remember my Dad was shocked that my car managed to weigh about the same as his Impreza.

Its always seemed too high to me. I guess the only way to tell is to weigh the car yourself.

OK now technically this is my Dads car but since I learned to drive in it I'm going to claim some ownership. It is a 1990 Renault 5 GTT Raider. Mods are considerable lol. That I know of its ben lowered all around 30mm, full turbo back system exhaust, changed alloys, full throttle gear shift kit, uprated ignition leads, big brakes, green stuff pads and a front strut brace. There may be more done but all I really do is drive it lol.

From the owners manual the claim is that the manual weighs 1345kg. Or am I making a complete spaz of myself here?

The standard EP91 is claimed to weigh around 1334kg (think thats right) Again staying with the starlet with a completely standard engine and the only mods have added weight my 0-60 was about 12.7seconds if i remember right. Which to be honest isnt that hot but up to about 40mph only took me about 4.5-5 seconds which is surprisingly quick. Past 40 my starlet seems to get a little bored lol.
