  1. Turns out it was 3 years 😅

it’s took me 3 years to get it safely road worthy, but the tracking is now done, and she’s so smooth to drive, and the fact the brakes now work properly since yesterday, I’m so happy right now, first time I’ve drove it working as it should.

can I now classify it as not a project for the next few months? 🤔

  2. Well it’s been a slow two years, but all the belts are done, spark plugs, lower suspension arms, track rod ends, ball joints, new callipers, disks and pads, just need the tracking done and she’s road worthy, then it’ll be onto the tuning.

was shocked how seized up many of the bolts were.

Got the Corolla intake manifold on, trying to clean up the 5efhe injectors, the throttle body sadly was a no go, so on sourcing the same type I used in the past, but hoping to get round to measuring up and fitting the exhaust system over the next few weeks, and need to look into what piggyback ecu can be used.

ill update in another 2 years when I get the next bits done.

This is just the people that got tickets for 2020 I believe so I'm unsure how may will turn up

Well I'll be there, but be coming back from holiday so won't have the starlet, but will come meet you guys.

  4. I'll be at japfest, didn't think anyone would be going, never seems to be any activity here anymore in regards to events. Seems to of died a bit over the years.

  5. Yeah I know what you're talking about, but the high lift cam is from the acis version of the 5efhe engine is what I was saying. But high lift only really works at high revs and benefits bhp, I'm aiming for a nice torque curve, and don't want to increase the rev limit.

  6. Well, got a 5efhe full exhaust system, wasn't expecting the back box and tail pipe to be so big, 5efhe injectors, and a couple lightened pulleys.

Just need to wait for the other parts to turn up, but probably won't get everything cleaned up and put on for a couple months.

But it's a start, struggled so much to source these parts, used to be an easy task, now it's near impossible.
