Replaced thermostat fan was working few days later started getting hot found fan wouldn't cut in. Diagnosed it was fan switch going into the thermostat housing so replaced that. Got car up to temp rose to the grey bar below H still no fan so turned it off waited a few mins re started and fan was on but for 10 seconds then went off? ?

Right replaced the fan switch as found that wasn't working. Ran car up fan didn't cut in temp got to the thick grey bar below H on gauge so I turned her off... waited 10 seconds restarted and the fan was on for 10 seconds then went off ?? Dodgy thermostat maybe

If they have a dimmer then they need to be connected to something that's switched on. I.e your lights so it dims with the lights... In the bulk head by the master cylinder there's a bung for the main loom you can remove it and it comes at the bottom of your acceleration pedal

I checked the water level and it dropped from the cap to just above the cooling grids in the rad so a few cm il bleed it aagain and see but still need the fan too work

Where abouts is the rad plug? No sensors going to rad? Air con removed if helps

Fan doesn't seem to cut in . Temperature is steady till I boot it then it rises to 90 % pulled over to find a slight leak from a hose not clipped properly. Fixed that drove off. Booted it and it rose again and no fan... rads a half civic rad with small fan to suit. .. any ideas

Ah cool just only seems to be noisy on idle. When reving it goes ... if its common and not a issue then cool cheers

Got a ticking sound coming from near the inlet... grtting louder since I bought it last year. Milage is 105,000 timing belt done at 74000

Temperature Gauge Low While Driving Normal when Parked

Mines the same driving round normal it'll sit 1/4 of the way until give it the beans then it sits at normal and the fan will kick in... but if I don't boot it, it stays low unless sat idling
