Hi all just bought a second hand turbo td04l 12t which looks like that's knackered my question is when looking on ebay I can't find any 12t cartridges for a subaru and what I can find is all Chinese shit could I use a saab or a volvo td04l 12t cartridge and put it in the subaru housings thanks

Ye checked boost pipes there is a little bit on the intake side of the turbo pipe like dry oil that's it it does look wet behind the hot side compresser wheel that's why I thought it was turbo because when I took air filter off there was a bit of oil when it started smoking it was only on boost got home yesterday I revved it a little to see the smoke and it started to puff out smoke continously and the smell of burning oil

Hi everyone need bit of advice my car just started smoking on sunday went to a car meet fine going there but on way home whenever on boost and you let of the pedal it would smoke then it got worse yesterday it smoked on tick over if you revved it it would kick more smoke out I originally thought it was turbo that had gone because there was oil in the intake of turbo but just took manny of with turbo there is no play at all on turbo I put a touch down exhaust ports and they are wet from oil and the valves does that mean stem oil seals have gone any help would great cheers

Hi all my bottom pulley started to make noises and it got worse you could rotate the pulley so far back n forth and it wobbled i took it of today this is it so what i ask is will a uk starlet one work or can i use a fensport aftermarket one or does it have to be an original one any help would be great as i use car daily for work thanks in advance

Hi all need bit of advice I got in my car this morning going to the shop and I could just about hear metal rubbing against metal it only does it when I press the clutch for a second but when it fully pressed down it goes then when I lift of the noise comes back for a few seconds then goes there no noise when ticking over or when driving thought it might be release bearing but this sounds different any help would be great thanks

Hi all i have a little problem my car its not pulling hard like it did was running 0.8 of boost now it only goes to about 0.7 i no its not much but it does feel slow compared to month or 2 ago ive just done a compression test and i got 165/160/160/165 psi thats warm throttle wide open is that ok could my td04 turbo be failing any help would be great thanks

Thanks it was me mother she used me car some nobhead in a qashqi 4x4 was overtaking and hit her head on cut roof of the lot it was shocking
