its only the one spark plugged whats caked in oil plug number 2 is wet looks like its coming over the top of the tube and all the rest are dry

Need help just took spark plugs out and one looked like this and the ignition lead is wet for a compression test do take all plugs out

Right just took the dizzy cap off and the points are coverd in white crust soon as i touch it flakes off and the rotar arm just checking this before i compression test it fingers crossed

it looks like its had recent magnacor leads fitted and sounds funny mostly when on idle but still sounds funny all the time but sounded like it had a pre ingition rattle but not so much bottom end sound just going to do a compression test now

I had a look at the ht leads and the king lead they haven't popped off but it was dark so have to have a proper look tomorrow is there any way of telling if the coil pack has gone or do I have to just buy a new one I bought the petrol from sainsburys the cheap stuff I think is that bad like? no mate the car don't jerk I drove it to my mates house I went slow dident go over 2000rpm then I towed it home because I don't no whats wrong with it and don't whant to make it any worse if its internally and like I say it just sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders sorry for the spelling lol just gu

Can any help please I was driving my starlet gt this morning and it was running fine went and put some petrol in this afternoon drove down the road I was only doing 30mph did about 2 mile then it just started to sound like a Scooby any advice on what it could be please going to do a compression test tomorrow cheers

Ye ive checked the connections cant see nothing wrong so thought it might be both sensers that are fucked for oil pressure and temp ill go on id-workz thanks

Hi all i need a bit of advice ive got depo racing gauges and my oil pressure and my temp gauge the nreedle goes up and down on its own just whant to no are both sensors on the sandehich plate and can i just buy the original sensors or do i have to buy aftermarket ones thanx

Ye mate i remember he was gutted lol he dident think that the gt's and the glanza's wher that fast iam all ways up lingdale my mate got a garage behind the workeys pub

I dident whant to buy because it was to far away but went to edinbrough to look at another one and is was leaking petrol out of the injecters so went to look at that one and it was mint so i bought it which iam glad i got it because its runs sweet as and its quik cheers

Ye it was a shame he owned it he trashed it its in better hands now the car runs sweet as ive had two starlets now and this is the best one yet do you no any history of the car like mate

ye mate this is your old car it did come with the front lip but in half the lad who I bought it off was just killing the car on the fields and front and back bumpers need painting because they are cracked hopefully getting them sorted soon
