Think I'm experiencing the same only noticeable in 3rd though as soon as you plan foot it kind of hesitates but engine note gets louder between 3-4k rpm and then climbs again after passing 4k! Hoping it's simple fix. -

I may do tomorrow bud read a thread in engine bits seems possibly like a misfire. But just took car out and it like hesitates at 3k like it's spinning up then climbs up to 4k then increases normally there after.

Right best way to explain is if was pottering about 2k rpm and put my foot down boost kicked in and started climb (as it should) it hit 3k rpm then behaved like it was spinning the wheels up but the revs held and then started to climb again once got to 4k rpm doesn't do it in any other gears no clutch judder, selecting gears is fine as normal. I even stopped and gave it the full shabang through all gears and it held and boosted fine. To me seems like the clutch slipped but I'm unsure. To help answers in running standard boost bypassed 2.5" turbo back exhaust no other mods. After a bit when I n

So after my trip down to Id-WORKZ last week I came back with some exclusive goodies. Id-workz own dimpled and grooved front discs! Didn't get chance to get a pic of them fitted but will try get some soon. And IMO they are awesome and defo worth the upgrade! Also received a package today consisting of a front air filter relocation and my old boost gauge from socks. Pictures to follow tomorrow.

Thanks boys, only just happened but went to set off and just as I touched throttle there was a tinny rattle noise under bonnet/front of car but as soon as I put more throttle on it went and driving was fine! Really bugging me. If anyone can shed any light much appreciated. Gonna see if she does it again tomorrow.

Right thought it's about time to put up a project thread. Start from the beginning I bought a 99 V which I adored but unfortunately was wrote off, sold and broke by another member. So I was on the look for another black facelift. Which brought me to ScottyB who kindly sold me his car so after a few chats swap insurance over I took the full day and set off at 3:30am from Rotherham to Fife! Was few stone chips around the bumper and bonnet and a small rust mark on the rear quarter panel which isn't that bad. exchanged money and the long trip home started. I've already acknowledged that have I not? I'm simply implying about not replying and arranging something then not replying. Yeah I understand about the accident obviously that's why I left him be but he's selling parts and posting about things selling them and on Facebook but not responding so yeah I'm a little concerned and annoyed. I left it and didn't text/call but noticed he was selling parts picking new car up I assumed he was back mobile! I've not just jumped to conclusions like you are all assuming. I'm simply enquiring if anyone heard from him as would like my exhaust
-
Anyone recently heard from him? Keep texting regarding collecting my exhaust (which did say take off shell at his own leisure) but after two replies in total regarding an apology and to come I haven't received a text back at all. Understand the guys busy and been through some things but bit annoying how I'm not getting no replies nor acknowledgment of my messages.
