hey again, the engine n00b question. tomorrow is my birthday, and i already know my nan (silly of her to do) has placed £20 in my card, and with this i am going to do some paint-buying.. so i plan to respray my rocker cover and the dizzy cap... but the question lies, do i need heat resistant on the dizzy? thank you muchly Sam

same as jag on that but i must say its a rather clean car (from what i see) but lower profile tyres and a new set of numberplates (because the rear one is hoooge) , possible remove the written toyota badge too,it is also hoooge

well.. when i took mine off (5efe mind you, nothing diff though) it was covered in oil underneath and i changed the little gasgets (one was cracked so swapped with original rocker cover gasget) but by the way, does it really matter if you spray the cam cover without masking up?

so if i dont use laquer it could come out ok? i guess it would depend on the overall finish of the paint

^^ Liam D i dont think so, you can with the new style, and with the old irish plates, but you cant have them with the UK style ones at all.

my uncle had REJ 172 before he sold the car with the plate, worth a couple of grand as its old old style. ive been looking at P14 SEO for the galliano and P13 SEO for JWK
