  6. na.. im expecting a Saxo badge.. with Japanese on top of it
  7. if it followed the curve of the light and not the squared lense shape..
  8. 2f2f spoiler? ooh ooh.. its green numberplate lights isnt it? im not totally against lights, but i think some lights take the pee.. i mean, i have about 60 blue LED's in my room that were going on the Galliano, i havnt got around to it yet although i have got my mums xmas LED's ( about 60 on them, but plug in ones) in my red paseo... i mean, its personal taste but im not keeping the tree lights in there forever, its just a matter of do i like the red. and.. i do all im saying is those lights are chavvy, they will be on spakso's and corsa's before you can say bobs your uncle, and toyota owners are above bodykits and washing line spoilers. we are all for the subtle modifications. at the end of the day its your car (or your dads) and its your choice. but i see making your lights look like a boxy version of an R8 set of lights is a pointless attempt at impressing your mates. your mates will be impressed when you tell them you dont care what they think its your choice, not following the croud.
  9. well.. i came up with a better idea. My mum wanted to go up to our local Chaplins (not pos if anyone has one near them, but they are cheap as chips) because she needed some birthday cards. while browsing around i saw a scale 1/18 MR-S (MR-2) in yellow, and i thought.. briliant, i have a Celica, and if i use the MR-2 i can create a range of limited editions (comprising of 2, unless i find some cheapies on ebay) well this MR-2 was yellow, so when i was looking in the rattle can section.. i couldnt find any descent whites, but a "Buttercup yellow" was almost an immaculate match to the MR-2. So i bought a couple of cans and brought it home, and decided i would do a set of Galliano's lol heres a few pics Dashboard and all interior parts (including seats and carpet) painted black. the idea behind the seats being painted black is because im going to pass it off as leather for the brochure (the brochure is acting as though the Celica Galliano is a real car (when really its not )) i bought the yellow MR-2. and made a set of small decals for this as i dont need to respray it. the bumpers came out awfully crap. maybe because they are plastic as aposed the the rest being metal. but i am going to sand everything down and respray it again, but this time in the garage so it doesnt dry with little bits in it. then i will laquer it and put everything back together.. although i need to make an engine still but the engine bay came out beautifully!
  10. your not selling that livesports kit are you? good luck mate
  11. this has to be one of my fave glanzas!! but not overly sure on the rear spats.. the optional rear lip would of looked better imo. good luck with the rest
  12. i was gettng rather worried at the fact that the only holes in your bumper looked to be holes for foglights. but good to see you made that bumper look awfully good looking by cutting most of the middle out. good luck with the rest.
  13. they look nothing like them - thus they arent look alike at all then they are clearly f**ked up.
  14. post up in WANTED section mate you will get more of a response
  15. thats the exact thought that crossed my mind when i saw this topic if you want to make it lighter, remove just little touches, re-trim your doorcards removing the center peice with the pocket etc, thats only a minor thing but can make a bit of difference, secondly, take the rear seats out, remove rear panels etc and then fit the seats back in if you have to, removing carpets sometimes works, but dont ask me if it makes much of a difference because im not too sure. removing the center console might work, leaving you with the gear stick and HB only. but if you want pure track car just strip it all, bar drivers seat, steering wheel and dials
  16. well... its been a month, and not all too much has happened really... but i finally got some petrol in the old tart a few weeks ago i started re-making the Galliano decal with black vinyl but i cocked it up, to see if it was salvageable.. i stuck it on JWK with intention of removing it if it wasnt able to go back together (i cut the wrong part and it did stick back nicely) i decided i liked it so left it on also added some new wheels last weekend, it turns out cheaper than buying the Corolla wheels for £50 + however much per tyre (all 4 need replacing) So the old wheels from the Galliano (of which were in the garage for about 2 years) are on, i had to pump them up but 3 tyres have nails in and one is bald... so all 4 tyres on these wheels need replacing. but its still cheaper in the long run. looks rather JDM to me :S but yes, befroe anyone says it, its riding as high as a kite, it hasnt been moved since it was jacked up so it hasnt set in yet.. but i deffo want it lowered anyhow
  17. na, its ready made one, but my mates brother broke it and i bought it off him... its not going to be movable as im putting new wheels on it... il need to glue them on because the axle doesnt fit under the part that held the original in but ive stripped it down and im going and getting some gloss white spray to paint it with... and already done bonnet black.. and painted carpets, door cards, dash, and rear panels in black, i have to add the white touches to them too... and also dug out some little bucket seats (nicked them from my f&f eclipse (A)
  18. because this is a scale 1/18 model, and i dont have a doner supra to take the engine from, nor do i have lights and spoiler etc. and this is a gen 7
  19. good luck.. im not using his idea
  20. you have got the exact angle/height/width of the first picture.. you left your camera on that stand! eyebrows look pretty smart mate
  21. right.. cheers for the help guys.. but im going for lightweight cheers
  22. lol.. it it was my thoughts.. im looking at lightweight just it has seats and a dash and maybe a sound system
  23. lol. thats a new one
  24. well.. time has come to start my Yr11 GCSE project for the graphics course i haev taken at school. the aim of the idea is my whole class goes seperate ways, meaning i can do something and my friend can do something completely different, they are our projects not a class project. The aim is to make an item and then design logos, brochures or leaflets on this idea. I have chosen to take my model Toyota Celica, respray it, and do various modifications and then use photographs of it to design a brochure on this car, but its not just a standard toyota celica, its going to be a limited edition. what could i call it as a limited edition? i plan it to be White, it will have front bucket seats with harnesses, black bonnet with white celica bonnet scoop (this is the Gen 7 by the way), an engine from a mitsu Eclipse (the f&f eclipse (bright green one)) and then it will have a turbo, an intercooler, and various other modifications engine wise, and then many other mods such as front splitter, side skirts and rear spats. and an angled exhaust (jdm style) anybody know what i could name this? The New Toyota Celica ????? lol anybody who can help is pretty much a life saver as im rackin my brains trying to think, all i think of is Galliano, or JDM Sam
  25. meh... no arty farty.. full on orange will do im telling you now, no hesitation, do it!
