Liking the G60s on there buddy. Purple looks great on the white. Maybe a set of OEM mudguards would make the car look lower.

Not keen myself. Should have resprayed the original red if it was changed due to damage etc. Would have looked a hell of alot smarter.

Due to the ammount of rust, dodgey paintwork and the fact Zoes old Paseo had been in an accident, and the fact that my aunties old Paseo came up on ebay, it means we are stripping the hand painted black Paseo for spares.

Engine and gearbox are fine, though the radiator was leaking. We never got to the bottom of it but I drove the car a good 100 miles three days before we laid her up, and she didn't miss a beat.

Many parts I have doubles of. Doors, wings, many interior bits...

Could POSSIBLY part with the Corolla GTi seats (check my build thread for those at the beginning) but only to descent offers as I am considering keeping them for myself.

Car still runs smoothly, started first time after being laid up for two weeks. Sump has slight oil weaping.

Hi guys, couldn't really secure a good suforum for this to go in...

But I'm looking at a set of jdm Paseo wing mirrors that have electric retract. Can anyone tell me how hard it would be to wire up?

The way I see it is if I got the switch from the other car, then I pop that in and it could possibly be plug and play, but just needing an extra wire to run through the doors to the mirrors... Am I right?

Looking good buddy. I'm only down the road, and often in Weston, so might see you about. Your car has the original Auto Scuderia number plate like my girlfriends Paseo has. They all seem slightly oversized with the 3D lettering.

Reason I haven't checked myself is mainly because of time. On the upper hand, I have the original OEM discs in the garage, and I have got some nice new OEM pads from work too. this will tide me over before I can afford big boy toys. They will go on when I put my other wheels on.

On a side note, are Paseo and Starlet discs and pads the same size etc? Same parts? Or are they different, but fit?

Also, no need to check my shoes, I don't have any anymore. Discs on the back ;)

Liking the JAM ass on this. Only thing you need to do is pay attention to that attention to detail. Get the car sprayed up nicely, lose the laguna lip and rock a 96 spec OEM lip (or JAM? ) and the car would look great. The amounts of overspray on this is a little disappointing. Sorry bud, thats my only bad view on this though. Glad you made a turn from the sticker bombing!

Aye, he bought it genuine from toyota for a pretty good price of £90, knowing it bolted straight on. Looks better than a bumper with a dent.

I spotted this yesterday... Well... I thought I did. Turns out its a different reg... so that means theres TWO!!

Is that a personal plate on the Civic amigo? Or atleast an older plate whacked on it ?

This do-able? I feel my brakes are coming to their end now. There is a small (!) warning light coming on when I brake. It did it in my first year of driving and, while at college, figured it was brake fluid needs topping up. Thus I topped up the fluid and all was fine until a few weeks ago. Fluid checked and all is hunky dory there, so it must mean my discs/pads are lifeless.

I am guessing that due to this light being on, I am progressively becoming paranoid about my brakes (that said, doesn't stop me covering about 1000 miles with this issue...) and I feel like they will just fail on me any day now.

When I bought the car Mikey left me the original brake discs as they were reasonably new. They are still in the box in the garage, and have been since I bought the car (a little over 2 years now). I will most likely replace the pads with something descent, as good pads are cheaper than buying good discs and pads. I have next to no monies at the moment, so the cheaper option would be to pop the standard discs on and get new pads, and then later this year look at getting uprated discs and replace the pads again (most likely along with uprated rear discs and pads as I am running GT hubs).

Can anyone shed some light on this, or maybe tell me, for real, that I am panicking over nothing and they most likely have life left. They stop me, i'm just paranoid they might not.

I'm guessing this was again down to Geo being too high and mighty to allow Matt to do anything back stage again? I note endless call outs were ignored..
