I'll be getting it mapped once I've ran the engine in. It's already got an emanage blue. Yea it's a serious ecu but id rather have the best set up I can for the engine. I'm not chasing huge figures rather making the best set up for the ct9. I'm sure when I get it mapped I'll find out.
-
I thought so, I've just not read anywhere of someone running a stand alone on a ct9 hybrid
-
Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn't find it. I've just rebuilt my engine and bought myself a stand alone, however I'll be running a hybrid CT9 turbo externally gated. Will the standard injectors be fine or can I use slightly bigger injectors ? I know when you normally run a CT9 hybrid standard injectors are fine but with the stand alone having better mapping options would I benefit from uprated ones? I've not made a cooling panel but I've made use of the air flow with this, used the space for the oil cooler and holes made for the top of the radiator.

Yea I'll have a look tomorrow.

No the gearbox hasn't been apart, it's been drained of oil and put in the office in my cousins garage so dry stored and not played with. It has oil in now. It feels like it's in gear when you depress the clutch and select a gear, no issues there. But when you release the clutch it doesn't sound like it's actually on gear and you can hear grinding as it bites
-
Just rebuilt my engine and have put in a brand new stage 3 spec clutch. I can select gears not an issue however when releasing the clutch it grinds as if it's not in gear ? This is happening in every gear. Can someone point me in some sort of direction what to check before I send the gearbox off for a rebuild? Some sort of check list would be helpful I know the gearbox was ok before taking it apart.

Looking for a glanza engine loom to repair some of the connections on my loom so not fussed if it's a bit of a mess
-
Item For Sale: emanage blue ecu and loom Item Condition & Description: Bought this to replace my slightly faulty ecu in my glanza however put a deposit down for a stand alone so this is just sitting there. Was removed from an Almera GTI running good power with no issues. With this being the case only half the loom has been used on the Almera so the other half is still brand new. Comes with computer cable also. Price: £200 Pictures: Payment & Shipping Details: £8 recorded and signed for +4% as always

Managed to build the engine up and have it fitted within a day. Big push but was going on holiday so wanted this off my mind for a while. Some big parts going in such as all the forged bits, paddle clutch and lightened fly. Had all the engine mounts poly bushed and had the engine bay cleaned up nicely before the engine went in. I also managed to get the alloys on which I think set the car off nicely. Nice little before and middle of completion picture at the bottom.
