Hi, when i start my glanza up from cold it will idle about 2000 RPM then drop slightly to 1800 RPM when warm. I'm guessing this is far to high and its quite loud idling that high! any ideas why this is happening and any way to reduce idle speed? Thanks

Hi, when i drive my glanza there is a weird scraping noise coming from the front, i don't know whether its the engine bay or wheels or what, but when i remove my foot from the accelerator it stops and also if i press the clutch taking it out of grear it stops, it also stops when freewheeling. it sounds like plastic scraping or something along those lines. had a look under the car and nothing is dragging or anything. any ideas? thanks!

i have the same problem mate. when i accelerate i get a horrible friction noise as if somethings scraping or rubbing! did you pinpoint what this was? was it the cv joints in the end? thanks

nope not done a diagnostic! think I've fixed it, i changed the rotor arm and distributer cap and seems to be fine now:)

yeahhh i worked out I'm roughly getting about 26-28 MPG. i do 2 short journeys a day less than 1 mile and the rest driving on country roads! quite a lot of hills but also a lot of downhills. where i live petrol isn't cheap its about £1.49 a litre :( don't think the lambda sensor has been changed in a while

Hi, my glanza seems to be drinking the fuel... i am getting 200 miles to a full tank (£50) which i think is pretty bad. car is running standard with standard manifold standard top mount intercooler standard boost (0.5) and i have a FPR set at 2.5... any suggestions why its using so much fuel and whats the standard MPG for a 1.3 glanza? also driving on country roads. Cheers

hi, my car is holding back when i go to accelerate its sounds as if its miss-firing. only really when its under pressure like going up through boost or just hard accelerating. feels like the car has little power too... and ideas what this may be? thanks

I'm planning on removing the aircon and i believe this involves removing the water pump too... if i do this then i will need a shorter belt to fit... does anyone know what size of belt i should be buying? Thanks
