Why are glanza/ starlet owners so stuck up
Farrell replied to zooty_tooty_fruity's topic in Lifestyle General
Feel free not to read this, bit of an essay. my initial thought on the original question is that Everybody hates on Honda and alot of it is down to the community and the types of people that usually drive Hondas; The community is pretty poor unless you have a particularly nice Honda (something with a B series, integra, s2000 or something that just looks good/ stance queen) if that's the case people tend to get on with you quite well (from what I have seen) I however had a beat up old 1.4 non Vtec 4th gen, it was my second car, it was £400, I loved it. I got on well with a few local peo -

haha nope, someone i know kept saying he would buy it but then putting it off so ive set it up again now so i suppose i should delete this post as its not for sale anymore

I agree, well over priced. But I did own a civic before my starlet, granted an EC/ EF not EK9 but it was so much more fun to drive! seating position was 10x better, independent rear suspension makes it feel a lot more stable along with the wider wheel base. Turbos are fun with all the noises and the surge of power but a Honda engine being thrashed, screaming its nuts off, good times, good times.

A few weeks/ months ago my windscreen washer system stopped working in my glanza, I put more fluid in obviously so its not that. When I press the button to activate it the wipers still wipe but I get no fluid, I cant hear the pump running so I'm hoping its just a fuse or worst case the pump is knackered. Does anyone know where the fuse for this would be? I don't think its in the fuse box under the bonnet and I'm missing the cover for the small set of fuses under the steering column so if someone has a spare one or even just a picture of the label for that that would be brilliant. Hi all, I'm after the dimensions of the four bolt holes that bolt the seats to the floor of the car. I've been pulling my hair out trying to measure these but I don't have much more than a tape measure, ruler and protractor. Any help much appreciated

Hello, just need to know the size/ thread of the nuts used to secure the rear suspension to the strut towers in the boot ALSO I would assume that it would be the same size/ thread used on the studs used to mount the rear strut brace?? Thanks in advance

Ive found the For sale thread, I recognised the wheels from your profile picture and remembered it was up for sale about the time i was buying mine. The thread is posted from the username 'scotland ep91' but i cant see a build thread, dont know if thats of any use to you -
Ahh cheers man! its nothing special at the moment but thanks! Cant say i saw you but yours looks pretty sweet from what i can see in your profile pic

-
This is the guys car :S someone did comment saying that Subarus have very little paint but still...
-
I know somebody who sprayed his Subaru matte white with plasti-dip, took chunks of paint off when he tried to peel it off Ive used it for grilles, badges, but im not sure I would trust it on a whole car unless the paint was already ruined

As above, Im after the two bolts used to bolt the OEM 3 point strut brace to the boot floor Postage to Milton Keynes or if you're close enough il just collect them OR if anybody knows the thread (I imagine M10 or M12?) then that would also be helpful
