So as I said in my introduction thread I grew up with a starlet SR which was my sisters dads and I loved it which is probably why I still love them now! So a couple months ago I asked him what happened to it and he told me he sold it to the neighbour for £250 :L and he said that since he sold it it's been sat on there drive doing nothing for quite some time now!

To be honest if I had the money and time I would buy it myself and fix it up, he sold it so cheap because it needed a new clutch and head gasket, but other than that it was great! Has a big stainless steel hire exhaust and all speed line alloys!

I was planning on buying it myself and selling it on here as I know it would be taken by someone who would fix it up and give it the attention it deserves, but I'd have nowhere to put it.

Seeing my childhood car say in the middle of a drive surrounded by rubbish and cars is hurting so someone please come buy it off this guy and restore its glory!

It's in rotherham, if you want me to direct you feel free to ask. It's not actually for sale but my sisters dad reckons they'd take a similar price they paid for it!

Well it's been a while since I was on here! Unfortunately I never got a starlet due to funds and insurance and what not, I passed my test first time with 2 minors, lost my design job and am now working at Asos, I'm also on my second car accident nice may, I got a Corsa B handed to me for free from my nan which was stolen around 2 months ago from the drive of my mothers house and so I desperately needed a car to get me to work and what not, and all I could find that was good for the money and local to me (also had to keep the girlfriends parents happy as they gave me the money) was a Corsa C, now I still really want a starlet so once the car is paid off and I have some money behind me I'll be looking into getting one, hopefully I'll

I think that was possibly one of the nicest Starlet's I have seen! It all worked so well! would have killed to have had that as my first car!

Yeah the Glanze rep sounds good, I don't know whether I'd want all the glanza parts though, as I don't really want to be in a Glanza rep, I want to make it more my thing and yeah like JLF said, also depends on the miles.

Ooh Sheffield and Rotherham Peoples! Nice Glanza! hopefully i'll have a Starlet within the next couple months for my first car, but who knows! Could end up with anything! I'm at Cineworld Centertainment quite regularly with the GF, got a unlimited card GF drives us up there in here Polo 9N!

So I have my driving test 29th April, I only started learning around 3-4 months ago, still in my teens of lessons, had around 16 I think aha! Anyway! Right now I have £500 and by around Mid may time, maybe even June, I shall hopefully be purchasing my first car, I did grow up with a family member owning a Starlet EP91 SR so I love them!

I am located in Rotherham, so i was wondering if anyone around the Rotherham, Barnsley or even Sheffield area, if you see any Starlet EP91's for sale at around the £800 mark, could you keep me updated, as I would love one for my first of course you guys probably find out about starlet's for sale before many, and it would need to be bog standard due to insurance! unfortunately

Thanks everyone! As a kid my sisters dad had a Starlet SR, which we all appropriately named the Rocket! Which is of course where my love for starlet's comes from! I would love to have one as my first car, but in Rotherham with a budget of around £800 I can only seem to find some that are like over 20 miles away! not far of course, but my driving test is the 29th of this month and no one will come look with me until I pass my test xD

Hey everyone!

So my name is Ben, and I am 18! I currently have no car, as I am still saving, which on an Apprentice wage, with no financial help from family is quite difficult! I am currently an Apprentice Designer and I am on my second placement (I found this one myself) and I have been offered a 12 month contract where I am now, so 4 more months or so as an Apprentice, then BAM I will be here as a Designer which means more money! YES!

Now the car's I have my eye on for a first are as goes, in no particular order:

Honda Civic EP1

So I am undecided, I remember the Starlet for real good times, when my sisters dad had the SR when I was younger and I loved it, but the Civic seems more modern and faster But i do like older cars! MEH!
