If you need it sharpish, go down to your nearest Toyota dealer?

I don't think thats whats causing your problem mate. The a/c comp, fan etc. doesn't way that much. My bet would be that the rear shocks are leaking and broken, hence why the front sits higher and the rear has slumped. No one else has ever had this problem as far as I know, so I don't think its A/C removal related! When I changed my suspension, both my rear shocks had leaked and siezed, so I'm banking on something similar with yours bud
-
Haha yeah ! He's just planning for the not-so-distant future though
-
At the time I had a de-cat, exhaust, RX-7 TMIC...but I don't think a frount mount will make any difference; the turbo is taking in more air than it can get rid of, and boost is creeping. Best solution is porting the wastegate! Or just run 1Bar with supporting mods
-
I mounted my filter behind the bumper, cost like £30 to get the samco and stainless pipes to make it up...but had to get rid of it as I couldn't drive anywhere on boost as it would just fuel cut immediately. Felt fast though, and sounded the nuts!
-
Sell it to me for peanuts?
-
Rick is the pro, ask him. But I don't really see what else you would need .. :x
-
ct9 custom mani water lines/oil lines made up intercooler of somesort (would you really need one? doubt it) so some piping made up. exhaust modifying... what else? DO IT! NOW!
-
Shes fit. Put a CT9 on it.
-
That sucks...I guess I'll have to stop drag racing on the carpark roof then..
-
What teh shit do you need a knife for ?! Pure stabbage when you get frustrated I guess lol. Its quite an easy job tbh mate, but if you don't have any tools, you may find it a bit tricky lol. I'm sure some1 will help out!
-
Think it was briggers mate who I met that had a Swift, looked kinda fast! Never been in a N/A Starbo to compare though...Next meet someone take me out in an N/A. I have my old 1.2 Punto to compare it to (ofc the starbo would be much quicker lol)
-
Yup. Theres a scrappy near me that have a weigh bridge, I'll try and get my GT weighed at some point when I'm back home. I remember in my MOT the guy didn't know how much my GT weighed, so he put down 990kg. For 990kg he said the brake efficiency was very good, just goes to show the standard brakes are pretty good then eh! lol
-
Thats so wierd! I guess their just over-estimating..
-
Your not really making a spaz of yourself, its just that figure cannot be right. A Starlet is a tiny tin can of a shell and weighs next to nowt! So where they got 1345kg is beyond me. Maybe they mean 1345kg with all extras, 5 people in the car and an elephant on the roof or something...
-
1344kg, where the hell did you get that figure from ?? I don't see a UK EP91 weighing that much, they are tin cans! I refuse to believe that, so your saying a UK N/A EP91 is heavier or near equal to a 200sx, Celica GT4, Evo 5, 6 and 8! No way mate!!
-
Why does that matter? lol
-
Wait, whats 1300kg? The Starlet or the Punto GT? The Punto are quite light, I remember seeing somewhere that they are 1000kg-ish. What car is good up to 40mph and what car did you run a good 0-60 in (and what was the time?!) - I'm so confused! Haha good comparison! ;) Yeah that would be cool! 'Course you can have a ride in the GT lol, but I'm sure there would be some monster GT's/Glanza's that you'd prefer a ride in. Mines slow But once you get a taste of boost, I'm sure you'll wanna drop a 4efte into yours ! lol
-
Probably caught him in 4th/5th completely off boost and he didn't bother down changing lol. The 1.3 N/A look like nippy cars, but I'd say a Punto GT was not too far off a Starbo GT (standard vs. standard). The GT Turbo would be quicker, yes, but not by a huge amount! I wouldn't mind a ride in a 1.3N/A and see what its like compared to other small engine hatchbacks (I'm sure they'd be mucho faster!)
-
Flutters pro! I can't see it damaging our turbos, so little boost ! I ran mine with just flutter for a long time and had no problems. Now I have a half working Blitz BOV so it still chatters like crazy before dumping.
-
Who cares what numptys think anyway ?!
-
Coming along nicely mate! Looks lush Where did you get those discs from by the way ?
-
Looking good there mate! So you used hammerite spray yeah? What laquer did you use? I did my brothers wheels in black and used some halfords laquer and it cracks soo easily! Really gay! I wanna do my rims in white over summer, so just curious to know! Cheers bud.
-
Hmm I somewhat doubt that, even if he was driving like a spaz. They are 130hp in a 1000kg shell (130hp/tonine), yours is around 80ish in a 865kg shell (95hp/tonne-ish), they will be quicker! You must've caught him off boost, completely in the wrong gear or something...or maybe he wasn't really trying! lol

WATSON BATTY ROFL lol jokes Nice pics, nice car!
