Woke up to find my varis spoilers had blew off the car. Scuffs on the body and it ended up a good 10ft away ! Had it back on the trusty clothes horse and began repairing it. Good few chips and a minor crack. Glad it didn't split !

Jordan yellow is a bit too bright for me becuase I'm not mad on yellow cars really. Will probably stay with my original choice. Yeah they look amazing in person, just need a lot of caring for !

They'll never as bad as the yokos I had on my old one firewall and lamppost finders 😂

Got more lows today. There's still arch gap unsuprizingly but hopefully they'll settle down a bit lower. I'll get a pic when it's daylight.

Looks a hell of a lot better than when you got it, Fair play mate. Is keep the sr decals if I were you keeps it nice and original but it's just personal preference I suppose:) top work

That yellow looks quite dark most ive seen are quite bright too see a darker yellow one would be pretty cool!!

The 1st 16v swap me and a mate did aged 18 in a glorified shed barely big enough for the car so in the scheme of things not overly as long as you have a head for getting around problems.

Mounts are all custom but nothing a welder and some sheet steel wouldn't fix.

Driveshafts, the driveside is from a corolla gti. Passengers side is custom.

Both hubs were machined out to fit a passat wheel bearing and then press fit the corolla gti stub axles.

Wiring, used the 4age engine loom and spliced it into starlet dash loom and starlet engine bay fuse box.

You can cut both chassis rails rather than just the gearbox one like myself and use starlet shafts.

Quite a full on job then, will definitley be looking at doing it in the future, cheers !

Read this from the start, great build looks very good I must say 😊 Was it hard doing the 4age swap ? Would be looking to do this in the future when insurance goes down a bit. Was there any driveshaft problems, how many custom mounts needed making and how did you work the engine and interior loom ?

Got quite a bit done over xmas, thought I'd save it for one big update.

First the rear fog light switch didn't seem to do anything while on so I put an led in there to brighten it up when on

Found a 98 spec bumper, uncut which makes it look loads better imo. opinions on the Canards ? Cleaned up the fogs and tinted them yellow also

I hadn't my defi gauge wired up to dim when the sidelights are on so got that done also

Pollybushes came, still have to go on but will be getting some more so will do that in one lot

Then today I woke up to some parts which is always nice. C pillar brace and a trd rad cap. The brace was an absolute pig to get in but I got there eventually

Looks good whilst actually serving a purpose which is nice

Plan on getting the bumper and bootlid primed as soon as I can then it's onto block sanding and off to paint early February, can't wait to see it painted !

Just bought some arb and wishbone pollybushes from id workz. Can anyone tell me if the Glanza anti roll bars are bigger that she standard n/a ones ? Looked at whiteline uprated ones exept it would've cost me an arm and a leg in euros. Any help appreciated. Also looking for a 98 spec uncut bumper prefereably with lip and in Ireland.

Got the eyebrows carbon wrapped today. Looks good for a wrap.

Haven't updated this in a while, changed the cv boots for the nct and found I need new arb bushes, would it be worth getting updated bars with pollybushes ? Also thinking of getting a 6 speed box from a g6r Corolla with a lightened flywheel and braided clutch line, will a 4efe flywheel fit the 6speed box ?
