Great build lad, a mate of mine had one of those rad caps on an mx5 track car and it turned it in to a kettle, my advice would be to get rid of it or check it out yourself to see if does.
Thanks bud! Ah okay, but what you mean into a kettle? Boiled the water in the rad?

Looking good
Cheers mate!

Loooong time bump, still got this laying about and need gone.
Added fuel regulator, will be adding bonnet cable / fuel carbon can thingy / standard fuel rail soon.

Jeez its been awhile since I've updated this!
Finally got my brakes+new pads on and bolted up
Hooked my intercooler completely up hot/cold side now.
Wired in and piped in my AVCR and mounted solenoid.
Lots of other bits I probably missed too.
Just another random picture:
Got my oil/water lines hooked up for the turbo and fuel pressure regulator:
Bumper on, grill on, carbon bonnet on and wheels on:
Of course saving the best till last, the first start up:

More than happy to - they are on the shelf for once! SW20 (Mk2 MR2) front mounting bolts are 149.0mm apart, not the same as Starlet.
PM'd about them and thanks, I'll give it a look tonight, appreciated.

Piston measurement are on caliber, zoom picture. 36mm on MR2 and 38mm on Levin.
Hmm seem to be Levin then, shame the Levin kit I bought doesn't fit :| I think Russ has found me the right kit with these:
What is the distance between the mounting bolt holes, center to centre? (where the bolt to the strut)
I will check when Im home! P.s. sell me a set of you sexy brakes <3
-
Deffo look like the levin, but the seal kit I bought (only one I could find on ebay) doesn't fit, dust seals far too big. Can you measure your pistons too for me, then I will know if the seals will fit?
-
I have these sets of callipers, pistons are 38mm, MR2/Levin brake pads fit. But MR2 pistons are 36mm and everything else I have looked at are either bigger or smaller than mine:
I have already asked Russ on here, he reckons mk2 n/a mr2, but only info on them is 41mm singles?
Only Toyota 38mm pistons I can find are for ST205 rear single pots, completely different design..
Asking here for anyone else with ideas, because these are pissing me off!

Any ideas what a GTX28 spools like on a 4E-FTE? Wanting to go down a different route than a TD04 but don't want something as big as a GTX30 as I want the best of both worlds not just a straight line monster.
Check out Bussey's thread from when he ran a gtx28:
