Only a small update, didn't get much time this weekend.

But I managed to fit my new oem toyota steering rack boot mmm:

Got both my lower arms painted, polybushed, ball joints fitted and then fitted to the car:

I use to hate seeing the 2 aircon pipes poke out the firewall every time I opened the bonnet. So after faffing around for an hour or so, I managed to take the evaporator out:

The bung for the 2 aircon pipes are gonna be a great for passing my power cable through:

Guys im trying to removal the evap myself atm, ive undone all the bolts around the box i can see. But the fucker will not come off and the box will only split at the front not the back so i can't take the bottom half off. Any ideas lads? :/

Hi guys, got a forged lump which has done roughly 10k miles top end and only about 1k on a bottom end.

I'll be running a GT28 on it at about 0.8bar on stock ECU while I run it about at first making sure it's all a-ok. How much do you reckon I should run it in more before taking it to get mapped?

Nothing much, bit of welding around the arches, new rad and bit of tidying. But it's my Dad's and he doesn't have the insurance money really and no need for it on the road till spring/summer!

Anyway to tell? The idler/tensioner is fine.

Oh also, I bought a timing belt kit from Id Workz and the belt is way too long?? Anyone have that before?

Dad drove that around for a few months before we took her off the road for a few upgrades.

Spent about another few months off the road while we upgraded her with:

I finally got to drove this after having my first car for a year, drove it around till insurance ran out and decided to take her off the road to upgrade the powarr. That's what she looked like:

Anyway, so far today I've fitted flywheel, clutch and taken the inlet off the engine to replace with my old GT inlet as the TMD engine is from a Glanza:

Anyone know where to get some new steering rack boots/gaiters from, for EP82?

Not really wanting to buy any of the £4 shit off ebay, knowing they will just be universal and won't fit.

Spoke with a known starlet part seller, they are saying it's £35 per boot!

Surely must be able to get it cheaper somewhere or is that really the price for a boot?

The GT28/30 F-F only vband for turbo, not bolt type option?
