  1. Agreed, stay away from the cheap ones, never fit properly. They sit on an angle on the radiator and difficult to get the clip on.
  2. I use ngk copper spark plugs. Used iridium in my old starlet and see no difference at all except nearly £30 extra for the iridium
  3. That's right yes. It's stopped doing it now, it's strange.
  4. Definitely water got into either plugs or distributior cap, I get it sometime even with top mount.
  5. I may be in the wrong section, apologies if I am. About 2 weeks ago my car started making a funny noise at around 3000 rpm in each gear, it sounds as though the clutch is slipping and goes straight up to 3500k revs but still pulls. It's only done it twice and hasn't done it since, I've tested the clutch but it holds well and doesn't slip at all. Does anyone know what it could be or had the same issue ? Thanks.

  7. Just a suggestion but have a look at your temp control sensor. Mine went and it misfired like hell and just bogged out.
  8. Hey guys. Since I've owned my glanza about 3 months the abs light has been on but I went to start it earlier and it had gone off then I tried driving it then the break pedal was grinding and kicking back to the top and wouldn't stop then I drove it down a back road for about a mile then the abs light came back on and it breaks again normally now. Any ideas on what it could be? Any help is appreciated.
  9. I pulled the sensors out yesterday and gave them a good clean and all seems well ATM fingers crossed. But will update if something happens again. Cheers.
  10. Ive pulled out all the senors and gave them a good clean and popped them back and it seems to be ok for now. But will need to give the rad a good wash out and the engine too as it's gone all rusty. Last night when I out my foot down it bogged out then picked up then once I let go of throttle it juddered until I put my foot down again.
  11. The cables are intact. I forgot to mention the engine management will come on for 5 seconds and go off again. Then 5 minutes later come on and off after 5 seconds
  12. Hey guys. Posted here few weeks ago that my glanzas engine management had come on. And missing and trouble starting. It was the coolant temp sensor. So I replaced it and it was perfect but last night it did the same thing and comes up as coolant temp sensor again. Don't see how it could be that again. Any other ideas? Cheers
  13. I feel like such an idiot lol, I pulled the wrong sensor out. The grey and black sensor you've mentioned has snapped and hanging on by a cable.
  14. I checked the cable and it's fine. I pulled out the sensor and it was all dirty. I cleaned it then it started fist time. But still runs a little rough

  16. It's a p reg. 1997. Got a friend who does stuff with glanzas who recons it's a fueling problem.
  17. Hey guys. First post. I bought a glanza about a month ago and while driving last night the engine management light came on. I done the diagnostics test and it comes back as coolant temp sensor. Code number 22. And while trying to start it this morning it takes 3 turns on the key and I can't touch the throttle for about 10 seconds otherwise it's like it's about to die but afterwards it goes great no problems any ideas??? . Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.
