100% correct if your MOT tester is doing an emissions test they are doing it wrong.

Bearings sticking is a sign of oil starvation. Did you prime turbo correctly before starting engine?

Not running a bov wouldn't have caused it, I've not ran a BOV for over 2 years and mines been fine

I did port the wastegate when I rebuilt it if I remember correctly, that might have had something to do with the stable boost?
