  1. Got a strutbar and a parcel shelf for sale if you want ;) about the same size so could send as one parcel!

I did spot that when I was looking through the sales forum - if you've still got them after payday I'll probably be in touch. Finding myself constantly talking myself out of spending food money on car bits, is that normal?

  2. Hodamn, good luck, hope she sails through. Can't imagine there's much for her to fail on tbh, you take good care of her. I just get this feeling of dread everytime one of mine has to get tested, I've got a 0% success rate so far for first time passes.

  3. Hey

Anyone got any experience of these? Guessing I could install one easy enough using the tacho wire behind my current N/A, non-tacho-having clocks and bolt this to the pillar, saves the effort of getting new clocks and switching the odometer over and fucking with the wiring in the plugs and so on. Thoughts?

  4. ^^^ this.

My missus and I have nights where she sees her friends and I see mine. Keeps everyone happy, just need good communication.

What exactly about the situation is making you feel shit? If you feel like you're neglecting her or your friends, say that to them. If they're worth having, they'll understand and help. Again, communication.

Talking to people usually fixes things, give it a try.

And if it fails, fuck em. If they can't see your point of view you don't need them in your life.

  5. To top off I'm not aloud Sqaure plates on a "Nissan Mirca" !

I'm sure you'd be heartbroken about that if you were in a Micra!

Hate that the popo can get away with shit like this, though. And then they complain that no ones on their side, and we're all adversarial and whatever when they deliberately antagonise people for shits and giggles.

    Ugh, rage.

  6. Mmm, might have to give that a go, welding is one thing I can do.

Small update to a few bits:

Transmission issue wasn't actually the clutch, it was the driveshaft shearing itself inside the CV boot. Trip to the scrappy's later and she lives again.

Handbrake is honestly fine, no idea what the tester was looking at but I can't see it.

New speakers are hopefully sorted, if so they'll be in by the end of the week.

Changing the priorities a little after spending the last couple of days reading around the techbase, seems like the effort you have to go to for a smallish power gain on an FE isn't really worth it, so I'm going to focus on improving the handling first and then changing the manis etc when I've got more disposable cash to throw at it. Alloys, struts, ARBs and coilovers are now top of the list.

Beth, good tip on taking the time to service it properly :) full fluid change, new filters and plugs and she purrs.

Next update will be a while coming but hopefully a lot more substantial.

  7. Would be nice - would a Glanza system fit? If so I'd get a Blitz NUR Spec R and keep it when I move onto a Glanza.

Pain about the clutch, knew it was coming hut I hoped it'd wait for a bit. Such is life :)

  8. cheers pal!

Actually got a call this morning about him, apparently they're going to make him apologise to me and he has to sign a thing saying he was at fault. he also gets a stern talking to :p Apparently they'll phone me and let me know what happens, they were trying to push me to take him to court but I really don't have the time.

thinking of just repainting my current bumper and sticking the glanza front end I have on while its being done, can't stand having chips and stuff in paintwork!

Bahahaha, bet he hasn't apologised for much in his life - I'd say that's worth more than taking him to court by itself.

I hear you, and if you were planning on repainting the whole thing in bits anyway, why not start there eh?
