I really want to meet up with people off this forum!! Hopefully have my clutch sorted by next weekend. An it's not the location that makes it a good night, it's the people... Lakeside allways seems to attract, "boy racers" or police haha. What about like thee' jap meets down the a127 etc, or elsewhere.? Just an idea.

Either I'm useless with the search tool or 90% of threads only cover TD04 turbos... Just after a linky/guide/advice so that I can have the hot pipe going straight down, I can fab a bracket for the actuator for now, unless I can find the money to go EWG ;) Thanks Beany!

Thanks for the reply, the turbo was running the same as when I first got the car, before the clutch went, but I don't have anything to compare it with being honest, do you know where to purchase these? Hi everyone, my clutch has blown up so I've just started dismantling her to take the gearbox out, an seen as I've got a few parts waiting to be fitted going to do them too. Question 1 - should I have oil in my front mount intercooler pipe work? If not is that a rebuild? Question 2 - is there other option for ct9 water pipes? Or shall I just replace the pershied rubber hoses? Question 3 - how much would a ct9 rebuild be? An how much extra would it be to go hybrid an make it EWG? Question 4 - what is the black cyclinder next to the fuel filter? An can it be deleted? I think that's all f

I plan on running around 250bhp... Will this handle it fine, I do the odd drag at Santa pod aswell... Any one used these? I had an Exedy in my mx5 an that too all the abuse I gave it, but I would rather get a clutch that can cope with the power all day long. Also will I need to fit a new flywheel?! Or can I just fit it to what I have? Beany!

Believe my clutch has shat itself!!! Been told I need to get a new flywheel if I change the clutch? Take it that's just good practise? In the near future I'm hoping for around 250bhp so rather get one that will cope with that now. Thanks Beany!

**UPDATE** Just had a chance to have a quick look! When the car is off, it will go in every gear, little push for 5th, but it used to do that! Then I started the car, depressed the clutch, an it made a screeching sound, an won't go in any gear with the engine running, whilst clutch is depressed... So, from what I can work out, I need a new clutch, an possibly flywheel depending what's happened to the clutch? Any ideas guys? Can I do my clutch on my drive easy enough? Thanks in advance!!! Would I still of been able to drive it home though? An would that stop me selecting first an reverse?

Could I of got home though... I got it in first, an started the car, upped the revs an got it moving, so took no chances an starting heading home, it went into 2nd an 3rd fine, then as I pulled down my drive, I put my foot on the clutch an reverse just grinds... An I can't get it in first atm, an when I put it in 2nd, with the clutch still depressed it makes a horrible grinding sound, like metal on metal?

Nope, with the engine off If I depress the clutch I can get 2nd 3rd 4th 5th an with a bit of pressure reverse an a lot of pressure 1st makes a clunk sound but won't go in....

Was just coming back from tesco down Southchurch road, gone to put it into 2nd an wouldn't go, so pulled over, it wouldn't go in any gear, so I switched it off, stressed out etc, an tried again, managed to get it in gear, an get home, but when the clutch is depressed it makes a horrific squeal sound, an it won't reverse at all!!!! Do I need a new box/rebuild!? Help guys, as it's my daily :( Thanks

I turnt up at pitsea, an my mates said a few starlets had just left So we headed up to lakeside, an I saw one ep82 roll past mine in Tescos car park, but that was all :( I need some numbers, haha.
