Had some spare time today so decided to fit my 4-2-1 manifold. Before fitting gave it a coat of Calyx manifold dressing just so it didn't look brown n rusty.
Its a cast iron 4-2-1 manifold thats in 2 sections the 4-2 section has a lambda sensor hole then there is a separate 2-1 section think its from a toyota sera not a corolla Thanks will have a proper look at it tomorrow
i have fitted the corolla 4-2-1 mani to my starlet and the lambda sensor hole is in a different place so the lambda sensor no longer reaches just wondering if it will pass an mot without the lambda sensor or will i need to extend the wires thanks
I have got some 40mm lowering spring and am just wondering how much the rear axel will move by. I know I would need to adjust the panhard rod (making an adjustable panhard rod) but not sure how much would need to chop out
Just need the manifold everything else matches up. corolla manifold is just a straight swap bolts out swap over and bolts in. Taking the fuel rail off will also make it abit easier to do but not necessary
I have recently fitted the corolla inlet manifold and yes i would say its a must do mod for the n/a nice increase in low down torque not huge but its noticeable
Got it from fiddlersport a member on here just put up a wanted ad and someone should reply with one or go to the local scrappy and look for a bug eye corolla
I think its because the rubber throttle cable mount is too thick so going to get 2 1 inch by 1 inch thin metal plates to replace it which should fix it
haven't driven it yet mate will go out abit later to try it, got to make a few tweaks to throttle cable first as cable is tight and idle's at around 2000 rpm due to the mount being further across than the starlet inlet mani
