Hi, Yes thats correct and for power steering.
Could you send me some more photos, and is it possible to ship to the Netherlands?
-
Is the steering column for power steering, and is that handle for height adjustability?
-
I've purchased a set of Nankang NS2's last summer to try them and they are the best tire I've ever had, decent grip in dry and wet and little wear
-
NA has drums on the rear so not the same
-
Looking good! Will you do the wiring yourself?

Yeah, yellow and crazed in the middle.
I thought about a refurb, I take it the lenses are glued in as they didn't budge when I removed the clips?
Yeah, but you can soften the glue with a heatgun or shove the entire headlight assy in an oven
-
Have they become yellow? They are plastic so you could refurbish them
-
They are not the same, they have a different shape. mk1 bumpers are actually quite rare and wanted
-
What a beautiful car!
-
Jesus christ.. ofcourse it's not going to withstand any high temperatures
Get a friend or family who is mechanically inclined enough who can help you with this?
-
I paid 200 Euro for mine but they are rare here
-
Don't split the map sensor hose, use the nipple which is closer to the idle control valve
-
they are not NA lights, they would have a curve to them in the corners at the grill
-
It doesnt go away after a longer time of driving, say an hour or so? Could be just condensation in the exhaust from colder weather.
Otherwise I would check the colours of the sparkplugs, sounds like a possible problem with the headgasket
-
I could check my wiring loom where it comes out.. will let you know
-
It should be a wire in the branch of the loom which also has the plug for o2 sensor and water temp sensors
-
Nice plans! Doing the whole job at once
-
Where is your gauge connected to the inlet manifold?

Can the 4efe types handle much power?
4EFE gearboxes should be able to hold on for a while. I've used a 2E-E box in the past and it developed a slight crunch/whine in 3rd gear after ~2 years of driving
You could also search for a 6speed box of an 4AFE, and swap the bellhousing
-
Any 2e and 4efe box
Personally i would look for a 6 speed from a corolla with a 4efe
Not sure if u can reuse your driveshafts..

Idle solenoid can cause tapping noise. You could take it out and give it a clean. there is a tutorial on here or TGTT.com somewhere.
Even better, you can simply unplug it and see if the noise goes away. But this sounds worse, I would do a compression test
-
The engine number will be stamped at the exhaust side of the engine block.. but if its a diesel I am not sure
-
If its a 2E engine the water pump is not driven by the timing belt, so it can be changed separately depending on the mileage.
I would recommend a timing belt by Continental, and ofcourse change the rollers aswell. You can also check if the crankshaft seal on the that side of the engine is still dry, if it is wet get a new one from the Toyota dealer.
Any nice big spec starlets bein built lately
