  1. Not seen an uno on the roads in ages, i forgot about them must have a nosey on eBay now.

With the glanza there known for not the best car for handling, nice and comfortable though, but all this changes with a couple of mods, like decent shocks and lowered springs make a big difference and if you don't go to low with them you still get the comfort for UK knackered roads lol.

  2. Just a couple of rubber pipes missing on your high & low boost, must be blocked off so its on full turbo boost all the time, a lot of people tend to do this trick but just cross over the pipes not take them off, apart from that it's all there mate.

200hp is safe for the auto however yours has done some miles so go careful with the old dear lol

Mine was the same when doing an overtake Felt the car wanting to pull me off course, I never really found why sometimes it did this, one's I blamed it on the cats eyes that's in the roads, around my way on the country roads they stick right out lol and you feel them when you go over them so I'm sure a cats eye chucked my car right over to the other side of the road, my old v seemed OK in a straight line.

  3. Don't assume just because a car is a fresh import its a better car than one thats been in the UK for a while. Also mileage isn't always a good indicator to go on. Rough starlets can have strong engines and vice versa. Mine was bought off a infamous seller on here, loads of cars had issues from him but mine had a strong engine. Important thing is you weigh up whats worth more, clean shell, good engine etc unless something ticks all the boxes!

Import papers aren't really that important, they arent a definite indication of the cars actual mileage

I know where your coming from mate with regards to genuine mileage but if you can get your hands on a japan car import de-registration form on the car then that's normally good to go off with the true milage and if you can find out if the car went through an auction and at what grade. That's what I tend to go off if I was to buy off a fresh import trader that is, but if they cannot tell you anything and they imported the car then more than likely they have clocked it,If you was to buy from a private sale though there's not much chance of finding this sort of stuff out unless any paper work to backup.
  4. You'll be fine then with your other half, shame he hasn't got any import papers, I would ask if he imported the car or who imported it or did he just buy the car in the UK? I normally like to buy a car that's got some import papers such as the car import de-registration form which backs up the milage before the car gets to the UK because some people clock them when they arrive in the UK before re register.

Also ask if he knows at all if the car went through jap auction and what grade? But if he just bought the car from the UK then obviously he's not going to know much about it's history.

  5. Your welcome, if you need to know anything else I'm happy to help if I can:-) if you do go and view the car then I would advise to take someone in the know about cars, its a mine field out there lol

    Good luck

  6. Can i just let you know, i have just done a MOT history check and the milage states 11 February 2017 135,444 Kms but back in 14 November 2015 it says 152,380 Kms hmmm you need to ask what's going off with the milage?.

From the past MOT history though nothing to bad standing out from what i can see.

Do you know how to go on gov mot history check? It's on the net just put the reg in P435CCT and Toyota then you will see MOT history.
