  1. Look

The little bambinos come before metal n rubber ,

Here's a couple of snaps pal. If only I'd been able to find the Speedlines tho. 2B06A7C5-968F-44CB-8BDB-BD2B59FF8B7A_zps3EC4C0CF-1ECA-43C1-8020-F3405F008747_zpsC8E7DF44-3088-4B33-9157-8CC827FA5768_zps

    Needs lowering a tad!!

looks good mate, even with them BBS alloys on, I had a set the same on a mk1 golf gti.
  2. ricky how about explaining the build youve had for years lol? two sides to every argument but seeing as this is where most starlet enthusiasts see stuff, it might be a good idea to say whats going on there, and the other accusations on here. anything can be said via a PM but would have thought you would take the chance to clear your name here if nothings dodgy on your part.

I second that, how about you get some extra staff in to help with your work load if your that busy.
  3. i have all my old suspension from before to use so no missing parts morgey going to do the fronts first

i have gone off coilovers they just dont last on the terible roads i am 80% of the time

plus coilovers rust up in no time, well BC do from when i had a brand new set, i spray greased them as well.
  4. i'd be surprised if the front were complete shocks....but most likely they are just inserts

i'd be happy to be wrong...but that is how they were in the past

i remember this also, just inserts, remember reading the threads on how to fit them like way back 2007.
  5. Thx for the link. Im pretty sure now that i dont have anything stock in there, just need to measure that diameter one more time to make sure that its not 48mm. How restrictive is the stock exhaust manifold + stock downpipe for that ct9 turbo? im running now ~0.8 bar boosts and wont go over 1.0 in any circumstances. I understand if im going for TD04, then i need to replace manifold+downpipe for sure, but do i get that much benefit with replacing those parts with this settings right now?

0.8 boost is spot on with your glanza being all standard 😉 any more than that you will experience fuel cut, the standard manifold and cat down restricts the power a bit.

If you want to go TDO4 then if it was me i would buy everything that you need and get the car mapped, here is another link for you.

  6. 40mm will be fine, but would get yourself KYB excel-G gas shocks at some point when your old shocks bust, the original shocks leak oil out then it's an MOT failure, so when you come to fitting your springs make sure your shocks are good.

If you want to go lower than coilovers is best.

  7. Matt1986, Ive just noticed you've mounted your turbo at the top, great stuff! Are you also running a custom manifold? I've heard the manifold on Glanzas are a weak point.,,, Anyways would love to hear more about your turbo set up. Thanks!

Random thought... just wondering if there's anyway of making the auto box stronger for more power...hmm

Matt's turbo is in it's normal place mate, what your looking at is a rather large looking dump valve, also has the standard cat fitted.

Cat removed and a decent manifold is the first mod to do if you want a bit more out of the car.

The auto box there's nothing you can do to it unless you take it out and go manual.

Sounds like you have got a right big shopping list there of things to do, be careful mate these cars can soon eat your money up haha.

  8. i will when I get a chance pal, I've paid for the car and got the paperwork but haven't been able to bring it back to mine yet as my parents don't know. They will be super angry as I've already got two cars so planning to take it a friend to get MOT and tidy up the scrapes then bring it home. And hopefully have the Audi shifted by then haha. :p

haha funny that, hiding you car from your parents, you will be on the naughty step.
