Hmm tempting, but I want something weird and wacky that's abit different

so something a little unusual, I've got hold of a 86 Volvo 240, currently sporting its standard 2.0 petrol, the plan is to get hold of a Lexus GS300 and gut it of its 2JZ GE, transmission, ecu and wiring loom, and fit it into the Volvo, so I've got something nice and comfy to drive round in for long trips etc, as the starlets my day to day il try to get some pictures up of the Volvo, havent got any of a GS300 yet as im still searching for a suitable donor to give itself up

havent updated this for a while so il add some now! getting a rear bumper and trying something a little different with it, hopefully fitting my carbon dynamics airbox as well, on the air box topic has anyone managed to fit one in easily? im struggling with the size of the airbox in the small space left

That happened on mine when I changed the exhaust, I put a big washer over the screw/bolt and pinned it back up

IRWIN do a socket set that you can use for rounded nuts and bolts I think, might be worth a go

looking at putting in a lightweight flywheel when my clutch gives up, can a 4EFTE lightened flywheel fit an NA box? and does it need different clutches etc? and can you get a lightened flywheel for the 4EFE engine?

Think I saw one with bolt on arches, but don't think you can get a kit, think they're manipulated to fit

I used a new one but only because i didn't know how old the gasket on there was

It will got my tickets sorted yesterday, had some issues with the card payment but sorted it now! I'm hoping to make it as clean as possible for Japfest

Only a little update but spent all day cleaning and polishing the car, so far I've done all the outside and started to clean the bay up a little with a polish and decrease, will be on the inside tomorrow, hoover and dust, maybe if I'm keen polish any showing metal will get some pictures up tomorrow to show the difference

so does that plug into the original loom? and would that fit an NA or just a turbo? so you turn the dial and it adjusts the air fuel mixture?? sorry for all the questions, im still new to the computer side of things
