  1. Year: 1999
    Model: Solida
    Tax: None
    MOT: 29th July 2017
    Mileage: 88478

    Description:

This is my Starlet Solida (electric windows version) for sale with 88,478 miles. It has a few mods which include 96 spec Glanza V front seats in, corolla inlet manifold and D2 coilovers on the front along with Tein springs on the rear. The car comes with 12 months MOT with only two advisories. The only down sides to the car are that it has been sat for about 6 months so needs a good clean really, also there is a problem with the clutch, basically if you keep your foot on the clutch for too long it can get stuck and you can have to yank it out of gear. I drove it like this for a couple of months before buying a glanza v so didn't bother to fix it.

    Price: £500

Will listen to SENSIBLE offers, looking for quick sale if its not gone within a few days I'll have it on ebay with no reserve

    Description:
I am very sad to see this go, but my reason for selling is I plan on using the money for travelling before I go to university in September. Otherwise I would not be selling as I was planning on keeping this car for some time and putting quite a lot into it.

    Basic spec is;

CT9 at .8 bar @ 177bhp mapped by Tuning Developments on E-Manage blue

    Speedvison manifold

    HKS Hi Power Silent exhaust

    Autobahn 88 front mount intercooler

    Blitz decat

Relocated air filer behind front grill

    Ajustable actuator

    Air con removed

    GT turbo front seats

    Rota GT3 wheels

    Magnecor blue HT leads

    255lph fuel pump

    Colder rated spark plugs

    Standard shocks with RSR springs

    Front strut brace

    Optional extra front lip

    Clear spoiler brake light

    Clear indicator lenses

    Kinoshita steering wheel

    TRD gearstick

There may be the odd bit I've missed off but that's everything off the top of my head

In addition to this there have been a few recently replaced parts such as new wheel bearings all round and standard front discs + pads, clutch and drop links not so long ago.. Most of the work has been carried out by TD and I have the invoices for all work done.

Now as with any car there are some bad points.. Firstly is that the car used to be silver, and at some point it has been sprayed and hasn't been done perfectly. It has been sprayed on the outside only, underneath and inside + engine bay is still silver. Also the bumpers are a slight different shade of white but you can see in the pictures how it's not too major. I was going to get this sorted myself but being a daily it's hard to take it off the road for a couple of days when I'd still need to get to work every day. Also there is a slight crumple in the spare wheel well, not sure what it is from but it is minor and doesn't alter anything to do with the car. The only other bad bits are there are some small rattles but it's an old car now so it's to be expected I guess. Also the exhaust is blowing a bit.

Other than that is has been mechanically fine and I've always jumped in 10 minutes before I'd need to set off to warm the car up and let it warm down if I'd been driving enthusiastically.

Any more info or pictures available upon request.

    Price: £2750

  4. Long overdue update, got flooded on boxing day so that's delayed things, and this isn't a four million bhp build which seems to be the norm now but whatever.

Since I last updated this it's had new wheel bearings all round, new disks and pads on the rear, HKS hi power silent exhaust and probably the odd bit I forgot to mention

Gave the car a quick clean today as it was filthy from driving it through British winter

Got some white electric mirrors on the way and I want to get my scoop sprayed white at some point, not sure what's next for the car really :unknw:

  5. Update!

So I went to TD on Saturday and got a whole load of stuff done... Really glad I went, got more power out of the car, had it properly looked over and got to meet Mike and have a good chat! Anyway here's a list of what I got done

    IMG_92921_zpspp9otviu.jpg

Then it got dyno'd and made a completely stock 133! Even though it's stock power it feels a hell of a lot more than before. The car never used to get all three boost lights in the rev dial and was running below standard boost somehow. Feels soo much better now, get all three lights and the boost actually hits you whereas before it sloooowly crept up like it was n/a or something  Mike has left the boost at .6 so that I can bolt on an exhaust without flying up to boost cut straight away. So I'll be on the lookout for an exhaust and probably an ecu after I'm happy with how the car runs.

    IMG_92871_zpstj6z3ytg.jpg

Lastly they left me with a big list of shit that needs to get done to make it run sweet, which I don't mind because I want to make it a sweet runner before I go crazy with mods and half of these bits will get rid off the bloody annoying sounds it makes! :D

Oh yeah and I put my clear indicators on, which was a struggle because the last owner broke the clips and used sikaflex to hold them in instead 8o I got some fresh indicators with clips and removed all the sikaflex so all is good now!
