  1. Like the title haha, get strut braces, rear anti roll bar, some light alloys and good tyres. Then a few poly bushes. It should handle pretty well then, not a great deal of power chasing to be done with the N/a really, without spending a few quid.

Cheers haha, bodged describes it well :p . I've got a front strut brace on the way actually and plan on a rear anti roll bar (I've heard theres none in stock in the uk so I'll have to wait for a used one). But good lord light alloys can be expensive, especially when combined with good tyres! What exactly do poly bushes do better over stock bushes? Thanks for le advice

  2. Sounds like Sam! Well, Sam's car at least :p He isn't on here but he's a mate of Gilly (who drives a black GT).

The rather pretty lady would be sams wife! lol!

You will no doubt see sam's GT or mine as we both live literally 200m from each other.

Its a lovely GT and a lot of care and attention has gone in to it!!

Just drove past it again! lol yeah it does look very clean, could've sworn it was grey last time though so it must've been yours i saw in his parking spot haha. Didn't think I'd see any round here, small world!

  3. If I remember right in-phase are copies of vibe equipment. Does it have a built in amp?

Tbh a pink sub appeals to a small market.

No idea to be honest :/ and yeah I know haha, hence why I don't want it 8)

  4. A friend gave me this pink sub a while ago and I haven't used it and don't plan to and I'm wondering how much it's worth? I don't know much about audio so I thought I'd ask you guys

  5. Need a glanza bonnet or glanza S bonnet if anyone has one, any colour. Would prefer if you are near Preston/ Manchester area so I can collect rather than risking posting it

    Thanks!

  6. I would change your fluid if that dosent work I'd look at the slave cylinder being at fault.

Cheers, I'll look into doing that

Bleed the slave through with some new fluid. And as nick said if it doesn't work change the slave. Have you checked the fluid level?

When i find out how to do that I'll certainly give it a whirl! And no I haven't, I probably should have thought of that first haha  how do I check it?

  7. I've not long had my starlet (first car 8)) and I've noticed that sometimes it won't come out of gear or won't go in gear, it usually happens when I've had the clutch pedal all the way down for too long, even though it's barely any time at all compared to cars that work properly. It did it yesterday when I was reversing out of a parking space, i was only using the clutch for the few seconds it takes to do that and as soon as I put my foot back down to put it into first it wouldn't come out of reverse and so I just had to let it stall and then yank it out of gear and get going :cray: . Usually if I can get it in neutral and take my foot all the way off the clutch then back down again it works ok until the whole process starts again. Any ideas? I'm getting a tad sick of shitting myself and having to drive it in a certain way. You'll have to excuse my lack of mechanical knowledge, I'm trying to learn as I go! Any help would be much appreciated

  8. Crystal front lights and a lip help loads then obviously being lowered helps.

but tbf the glanza bumpers are just deeper plus have optional front lips available, then you get many more options from aftermarket suppliers as well so the variety is massive

All very true, I don't plan on going crazy with bumpers though, don't want it looking too much faster than it actually is lol :cray:

  9. Yeah theres plenty of us running at least some glanza parts. Just have a quick look through the ep91 n/a section and you will soon see the amount of reps there are.

Theres only a select few of us that opt to keep the n/a front end haha

I'll have a gander now

To be fair I have seen a few with the standard front end that look good, I don't quite know how you pull it off because mine looks hideous from most angles so props to ya haha :p probably just because it's got tiny standard wheels and everything but I'll soon see to that...

  10. i don't think he meant it was in the wrong section buddy - it's not!

I think he meant that you shouldnt have assumed we would slate you for making a Glanza rep - there are LOADS of UK Spec motors sporting parts from the turbo models on this site, my own included. We'll be looking forward to seeing your progress!

    Phil.

Ah! Understood haha. I've already had a friend slate me for it so I presumed there would be a fair few people about with grudges against rep's :/ I'll try and start an in progress thread somewhere when I get it if I remember. Thanks!
