  2. Exhaust paste should be ok if you let it dry before driving etc, as long as the paste is after the cat as it sumtime chokes it up, but you dont have one now Gary

  16. cheers peeps, helps alot, what happens if the pipe for the dump valve on the intercoolers(well the one on an hdi cooler) is blocked off, will it just run with the internal wastegate on the turbo? Gary

  19. ye i no that only turbo cars can have a dumpvalve lol, i didnt no that all turbo cars had a wastegate inside the turbo, i thought it was a choice between and dumpvalve or wastegate didnt no you could have both Gary
  20. cool cheers mate, so it doesnt really matter what one you use? just wondered because you see people with dump valves on lower performance engines and wastegates on more tuned engines with more power. Gary

  22. As the title says what is the difference, between a wastegate and dumpvalve? is there different types of wastegates (external etc)? What do each do? Gary
