Just had a look at your avatar and it looks alot lower in that maybe its just the dark pictures lol, Fair enough if money is tight any wheels will do, what size are they ?15's? They look quite small but maybe its just the pics again lol Gary

Looks quite clean, Im not sure how much that is lowered by if any, it doesnt look that low for 40mm but its hard to tell from the pics, Nice exhaust aswell from what i have seen it looks like an apexi one but im not 100% sure, personally im not to keen on the wheels but white on white is always good lol Gary

They werent bad, it did scrape the tyres on certain bumps but wasnt usually bad untill you have about 2 or 3 passengers, it sat quite nice, you can see pics on my build thread before i fitted my coily's, You still get a bit of body roll with them but i found them ok, They arent to expensive brand new, i think you can pick a set up for under £100 now, Would definatly go for either 40mm or coilovers for suspension, i bought 35mm first and they didnt lowered it atol really so it was a waste of money. I used Pi 40mm lowering springs on standard shocks, that is the lowest ive seen a starlet on standard shock apart from coilovers of course, Gary

Thanks for the comments, I do clean my car lol, just happened to be dirty wen i took the pics, If i could move into the town i would, i hate living in the country, to fecking dirty. They handle really good but still need to adjust the camber slightly so i will go to a performace place to get them done. Keep you eyes peeled for an electronics and brake update coming soon Gary

Update 10/02/09 Ive been collecting more parts for the conversion now but havent really updated on anything, I only need a few things now to be ready for the conversion to begin Well last saturday i bought a set of d2 coilovers second hand which had only done 3.5k, I could resist them and fitted them on sunday I was quite surprised how easy it was lol, it only took me an hour and a half , Ill upload more pictures off my other parts ive collected when i sort them all out, New coilovers Old shocks and springs Back coilys on Back suspension finished New and old Front suspension All fitted now Also fitted a clear cam cover from SPS Another update soon when i get a chance to upload pictures Gary

What kind of damage did it have? front or back? I know its not likely but did u try checking if the brake light bulbs were ok? you could ckeck the brake light switch at the pedal Gary

Ye i agree with Asad, there is two belts on the n/a's but not sure about the FTE's, Pretty sure altenator and water pump are at the back so will probs be on the same belt. Gary

You will have to earth one wire to the steering coloumn itself as the old steering wheel earthed inside , i just crimped a connector onto the wire and put it onto one of the bolts to hold the wheel to the boss kit Gary
