  1. The 98 spec ones were cut up to hell. I'm going with 82 loom, ecu and engine fuze box.
  2. Not got a clue mate. I'll remove it this week, clean it up and figure out a price bud.
  3. No welds ect. Will be up for sale soon so would rather know what it is before I list it. I'll get some better picks tomorrow
  4. Bought this engine today and come with this manifold, looks like stainless. Any ideas what brand? Thanks
  5. Right little update.. Bought my 80k 4efte from a GT today. Paid £300 and come with this manifold, ct9 and downpipe. Also has the clutch and fly witch is a bonus. Going to give it a good clean, change belts and service it before it goes in. Was also given a scoob td04 by a mate, little shaft play but will be rebuilt anyway Soooo.. Next stage over next couple of weekends is to take mine out and fit this with the ct9 for now. As said in previous comments I'm going to attempt to use the GT engine looms, ecu and fuze box (hopefully arrive this week) and not touch the interior. Most say it
  6. Sorted now got all info I need 👍🏻👍🏻
  7. Can anyone tell me/post a pic of the engine number on the 4efte block. Just about to go look at one and I think it may have a 4efe block. Also what other differences are there? Thanks
  8. Haha loads better than you expected. What a sleeper!! I bet it feels so much better now Power to weight puts it right up there. What's the maximum power you can run before forging?
  9. couldn't say bud, was parked up opposite vauxhall dealers in layby
  10. That sucks bud. Good to get it I so quick though, my prediction is 216hp lol Any other plans once running 100%?
  11. Black glanza parked along sealand road chested, white wheels. Looks tidy 👌🏻
  12. yeah not expecting it to be easy. your ep91 diagrams may help. going through google cant find anything like the one on that link you posted
  13. bingo. the fellas digging out the fuse box etc and having that too yes mate found someone with 98spec looms but been chopped about loads. i really do think i can do this without touching the interior. I've looked at that diagram and also printed it off ready. all looks simple, its just the 5 connectors that go to the interior connectors. cant be too hard as like you said on your build most wires are same colors.
  14. thats the one mate. im having it friday with the ecu worse case ill just snip and solder when it comes to the engine fuze box. Done 4 years soldering amplifier contacts so im not really worried about that side of it. If theres an easier way ill do it, really want to try and do it without touching the interior and 82 looks like the way.
  15. put the passenger side on first at a slight angle, put the nuts on just winding them up a few turns. then pull the drivers side into place. the leverage will push the fuel filter back enough to get it on. thats exactly how i did it
  16. really that much of a nightmare? hmmm reading all the things i have read i really do think i could fit the 82 engine loom in a day or two, the pinouts on the interior look very similar (more so than the 98spec). all a matter of trial and error i guess ill be selling my turbo kit from my 4efe including det3 with base map. will post it up in the for sale section
  17. what you having problems with bud? theres a couple of bits in the way so i put the passenger side on then pull back with the other end. fits perfect
  18. Cheers for the info. The 82 wiring loom and ecu is green label. Shouldn't be too much of a problem. Using Google and the link you posted on your build thread on the 82 wiring I think I'll manage it. Handy with a soldering iron and have patience.
  19. You're a legend. Cheers buddy Posted in the wanted section, a fella has a loom for sale and he's going to have a look and dig out his ecu too. I'll keep you posted
  20. Ok cheers bud. Sort of price posted when find ecu?
  21. Best of luck bud. Been reading and looking at wiring diagrams and pin outs on the ep82 ecu. They very similar to the 91 na. I'm going to get an 82 ecu and engine loom and have a go at swapping it with leaving interior intact like you said.
  22. Got manifold and few other bits here. PM me buddy
  23. I'm the same tbh. Sounds good bud, make a build thread. I'd follow this
  24. Good luck with the build by the way. Hope you have a warm garage
