Iddy, no he has not contacted me by phone or email. of which he has both. It was explained last week that I had problems with paypal and I would refund him as soon as that was sorted. Since then there have only been comments on facebook which I feel is the wrong place, just pick up the phone. The repair was carried out and the bolt was already loose. We managed to loosen it further and then re tighten it quite easily without it breaking. I would suspect it was then undone with an impact gun that probably caused it to sheer in the first place. His remaining £25 was refunded last night

We welded the captive nut on, had nothing to do with taking the bolt out

Quite an easy fix, you have to cut away where the nut is, weld it on and then weld the cut out back on, done loads of these -

One I could understand, but two would lead to me think there is another problem, maybe too much voltage? Any way the results of what they find should help

I will ring them again tomorrow about this I have still not heard back from them and make sure you get a replacement. Mind you as this is the second one I would start looking at what is causing the problem
