  1. HI all,

I know you guys are the ones to ask.

We are looking for some parts for a customers car to get it running again.

All parts are for a glanza

    engine bay fusebox

air intake / induction kit (currently has open turbo.)

    blowoff valve

Please email info@ti-motorsport.co.uk if you have anything that would be of interest to us.

    Thanks

  2. The real issue with our boxes is 3rd gear.

Its what everyone shits. I must have rounded about 5x 3rd gears before I gave up.

Pricing structure is what we all are going to need though.

Quaife offer something, but they dont rate them to any power or torque levels and if I was dropping big money like what there asking, Id want to feel comfortable in my investment!

As for adjusting ratios, there pretty good as it is, and good factory options are available.

    Thats my 2cents anyways!

    Thanks for the input.

As I have said pricing is a little up in the air at the moment.

As soon as I know anything I will let you guys know first.

  3. Hi all.

    GAUGING INTEREST THREAD

As you may or may not know we are MFactory Europe, the main distributer of all MFactory parts.

Previously this has been of little interest to you lot; however we have an opportunity now to get some parts put into production.

MFactory have said if we have 30+ people who would be willing to order uprated gear sets for the Glanza/GT-Turbo they would be very interested in putting these into production.

The only thing that has been discussed at the moment is gear sets, however if there is enough interest in final drives, synchro's or master rebuild kits I'm sure the same would apply.

Costs at the moment are unknown as no R&D has been done by MFactory, however I would expect them to be competitively priced against the likes of Cusco and other MFactory products for similar models.

Here is a link to our website just to wet your whistle a little and show you the vast ranges that we already sell with confidence.

    Thanks

  4. Just ordered one but on website its blue, will it be this one im getting? Thanks.

The blue does not exist any more.

The grey is its replacement, so you will get grey.

Any engine room pictures when fitted?

4e-FTe has said he will get some for us.

Ill post a pic when i receive it for ya bud.

    Thanks mate.

If you ordered over Christmas it should have been despatched today.

  5. Speaking to a guy on one of the Facebook groups who has one fitted. Some modifications required but he was being pretty vague lol

I have heard this, I just don't see why it would need modifying, based on the dimensions of the starlet I have been given all the maths adds up perfectly.

Ill be ordering one after Xmas, so ill let you know

Great to hear! Remember you forum discount code forum25

Would definately be intrested if it was confirmed! I reckon tegiwa should demonstrate one or borrow one for demonstration purposes as it would bring them sales in the long term

If we had a car to try one in then we would do so!

(shame I didn't buy the sportif that I saw the other week!)

Make a trip to Tegiwa and ill happily unbox one to offer it up.

  6. If fitment is 100% confirmed I'll definitely take one. I'm pretty sure they'll fit too just didn't want to be the one to take the risk. This will it/won't it topic has been floating around for years now.

Do remember if it does not fit you can return the item for a full refund within 14 days (just need to be in all new condition in the original box.)

Someone local to there HQ needs to pop in and test fit one for sure!!

    James

That would be great for sure.

What's the difference in the GT? I think I can get some measurements

I would expect the difference to be little to nothing.

If you can get the measurements between these points; (between front upper a pillar seatbelt mounts) then that would be great.

  7. Hi guys,

This is the one you have all been waiting for!

From the moment we joined this forum there has been one main question.

    HARNESS BARS??

I think we now have the answer, and it looks to be good news.

Our universal harness bars from mounting point to mounting point (between a pillar seatbelt mounts) is roughly 1250mm.

where this bracket bolts to the harness bar the hole could be slotted to give you and extra few MM ate each side plus the brackets will angle slightly to suit.

The Starlet is 1200mm from a pillar to a pillar. (credit to Starletglanzav for measuring up his car for us)

Once someone has tried one (although I am now confident it will fit) I would love for some pics to be posted in here. If anyone has already fitted one then please PM me and let me know how it went. Don't be afraid to share your pics here.

I hope this helps you guys.

Once again big thanks to Starletglanzav

  8. Hi all,

    Little update for you.

The Starlet torque damper that I am sure you have all seen on our website in that bold blue colour has now changed.

We have gone for a more classy look on this product now.

We have ditched the blue and gone for a classy deep silver anodised finish with the Tegiwa logo etched in as a subtle touch.

looks great against the satin black powder coated brackets and bright metal fixings.

Can be purchased as normal using the following link

But it now looks like this!

  10. Welcome aboard UKSO Tegiwa! Would just like to say to anyone considering this deal, they're awesome cages! I run the full cage with door bars and the extra bracing etc and it's absolutely superb quality and finish! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a full cage that's already FIA/MSA approved!

Anyone wanting pictures of a cage fitted can see one in all it's glory in my build thread

Nice to be part of it all again!

Thanks, the cages really do have to be seen to be appreciated,

I was expecting a lot more interest if I am honest.
