200sx-Starlet-Jay

ive read into this advanced timing on other threads, and it sounds like a good free noticable gain!! just a few questions tho to mak sure i want to do it!! - has anyone done damage to there cars from doing it? - can i run advanced timing on normal fuel?! ( bit reluctant to pay out on v-power when payed £1.10 for a -20mpg 200sx, doing 39 miles aday!!! - can anyone on here do it themselves? if so, i may ask a favour!!!! - would it be better to advance it when i have fitted my rolla mani ( more air causing a problem? ) any help wud be greatly apreciated!

lol sorry marra, i live in the countryside, so loads of country lanes! hense i have them on the high level instead of facing lower!! yeah it defo needs them,the front is dead low now, with glanza bumper and laguna splitter, and the middle is quite high!! i think the rolla mani and some form of exhaust is more important tbh tho!!

in my onest opinion, i dont like them sets of wheels. not sayin it to try and outrage the beast within like, but i genuinly dont like them. CBA now cyainabitBOP

i guess rotas are like marmite, you love em or you hate em. Personaly i like them, hense me having a set. They are built well in my opinion and are light. They havnt given me any problems at all and look realy good! at my old work, we sold rota's amongst other alloys, major brands 2.. never did we have any complaints or returns with rota, and all the others were being reported with faults. To be hounest, the rota haters must have to much money at the end of the day ( please offer any donations.. pm me LOLOL) !! when ure young and are on a budget, and have stupid insurance to pay and cant affor

lol how long??!!! within like 24 hours!! you get the vented bad boy or the flat one?? u will need a drill and 6-8 sets of nuts bolts washers and locking washers. and 1 or 2 zip ties... just for extra security mate!! have fun!

are there different colours available in these do you know? i mean if u look at my pics on my thread.. (ones with the laguna splitter fitted) they are turned on, and there is no way normal fogs will be the same colour!

yeah i know mate, its been on my list of things to do.. like a fool i brought the plates while i was waiting for the bumper to arrive, complety forgot about the smaller import size plate, hense it not fitting, but for the sake of it holding up the build i thort sod it, and banged it on. its only a quick solution, when i get the rear numper plate surround, i will get 2 plates cut again. so will be changed dont worry!!! yeah the seats look sweet, ive always fancied a set and ure rite they are comfy!! i got mine for £200 delivered!! as you can see, it was just a matter or cutting the top

need to spray the side mounting plates on the subframes still, make sum small wooden boxes to put 4 6x9's in next.. still plenty more to come!!!

i had the bolt in bolt out decat on my celica, and it still made that rasp noise i hated it!! when cat was in it was fine tho! so what causes that noise? it sounded like a wet fart when it hit powerband lol

cool. well i know a welder so he cud hopefuly do it for me!! did you notice a power gain or anything by doing it???

i brought a set of spax 40mm lowering springs for £80 ish deliverd. then take it to a garage and ask em to fit it. i got mine fitted for £80 while i waited, but this was through a contact so wud be a bit more. yeah i have pictures of the subs ect, how do you wanna get em? if u have msn my addy is blacko88@hotmail.co.uk so just add me and i will blip em to ya!!

and for those desperate for the pics of the spoiler ere ya go!!! they were taken this morning at 10 a.m so its all frosted up, and dirty atm, not very shiny!! just to give ya all an idea tho, and will get it cleaned up and add fotos of it at the on nottingham meet sunday! if your lucky i might add a foto of the lip fitted when ive done it, and may get the pics of the sparco's and mats on as well!!
