on my wastegate i have like a ally circle shaped bit in the bottom is this ment to be used ? its like a metal ring that slots into the wastegate

well i took the turbo off and the penny is welded shut and has not failed so put it back together and double checked everything and still no boost

Im about to fit my gizzmo and i was just after a little help i have a red blue and black wire and also whats the best way to get it from the interior to the engine bay and on the solinoid it has 1 2 and 3 ? any help will be great

its not mine i got it at work and no it happens all the time got told it might be an oil seperator blocked

Got a 540 and its chucking out white smoke no missfire etc no loss of water, after starting loads comes out then dies down then when you drive it loads comes out thanks if you can help.

Hi to do a boost leak check can i just blank off the throttle body and then blow and pressurise the intercooler pipe with a compressor set to 1 bar ?

its been welded shut mate

all the way to 7000 rpm and i get alot of exhaust noise not screamer tho and ive tested the wastegate with a compressor doesnt seem to be sticking.

it comes up from vaccum and stays on 0 mate

no i cant hear anything but when you rev it the turbo does spin

ok mate thanks for your help theres no sensors or anything i have to unplug changing from internal to external wastegate or something silly like that is there

how do you do a leak test mate ?

right had a look at it today and the turbo spins freely, i blocked the dump valve off and still no boost and ive took the wastegate off and put it on a compressor and it seems to move fine any other ideas :/

yer il start with that it did spin freely before i fitted it

yes mate checked them all but surely i would stull here the turbo spool ?

also how can i check the wastegate i dont get no screamer noise either

its all brand new mate if i blank off the dump valve would that help to try and iliminate it ?

this is on the right way round ?

just to add its standard ecu and fueling with a fcd and pressure regulator but dont think this would stop it ?
