Is it possible to just replace 2nd and 3rd or 3rd and 4th as they seem to offer this option for the Honda and Ford boxes?
-
As title states I'm looking for a JAM fcd specifically as I want a clamp style device.
Many thanks
Joe

You do have to notch the block in most cases with the i beam design of rod like the Scat or Maxspeeding, however you can get Pauter rods which are very good quality and light which you pay for and they have clearance being a x design.

Check any vacuum lines going to the inlet and throttle body they might be a contributing factor

If it's taking more than 10 minutes on each valve something isn't right.
-
It shouldn't take more than a few minutes on each one if the seats and valve faces are decent.
-
No it's a bit specialist really
-
You need to check the movement of the valve in the guide, I had to replace my exhaust side.
-
You should be able to give them a little squeeze one way and then the other with the pliers and then wiggle them out. You'll get it down after a few.
Or they do actually manufacture special pliers specifically for the job.
Seat the valves either way, I lubricated the guide and seal when doing so.

I think this should be significant for the starlets, my mates always going on about the one for his Mx5.
Definately something I would go for.
