Well its finally come, the time that the mighty little starlet leaves the family after almost 10 years :cray:

It was originally my car and I owned it for just over 2 years until changing it for an S15 but my mother loved the car so much she bought it off me and has had it ever since.

The car is a 1997 glanza V and is on 104k miles, its got a later spec front bumper and fogs but apart from that the body work is all standard with a lovely set of white enkei rpf1 8)

Engine and gearbox wise its standard unopened stuff but has all the usual bolt on modifications and has been very well maintained just having a fresh oil change and spark plugs.

tongs turbo hybrid that has covered 10k miles

    Hks adjustable actuator

    air filter in front grill

Mild steel manifold (bought off here but cant remember who it was made by)

Custom 2.5" exhaust system turbo back with just a backbox

    HDI FMIC

    Baileys bov

    Iridium plugs just fitted

    Magnicore leads

    tein springs on KYB dampers

    Rear Adjustable panhard rod

    Apexi boost gauge

    Jdm headunit

    Blitz turbo timer

Im sure there is more but I really cant remember but the car also has lovely ultra rare optional extra door sill plates that are still in amazing condition.

this is a lovely clean car and I know my mother will be broken when she has to part with it but she needs a more comfortable car due to health reasons

just had a full valet inside and out 2x new tyres, oil change, spark plugs.

Car has a full 12month not

    £4500 ono

  3. Depends really, you can get a non turbo one like you would a glanza s starlet but obviously the performance is no where near the turbo model but these are way cheaper at around 4k to 6k and are called the spec S. If you want the spec R model which is the turbo then expect to pay around 11k to 12.5k for a well sorted one but you can pick them up for around 9k and some even as cheap as 7k but obviously spec, condition and mileage come into it then. Hope this helps

  4. Yeah thats me :) I changed it for my S15 around 2 years ago now but at least I still get to see my old glanza and sometimes drive it :D but also have to do all the maintenance on it -_- lol. Thinking about getting another one for a track day car but cant decide yet. You going to japfest? if you are you should come over to the S15oc stand I will have my S15 on display

  5. If your still running the standard actuator then this is most prob the problem, the original actuator springs get tired and become weak over the years and arent able to hold boost as well as they should, get a HKS adjustable actuator that has a stiffer spring and then take the restriction off, hope this helps :)

  6. Yeh maybe they just need a little longer to bed in, just sick of cleaning my wheels ;) maybe give em a few more weeks and see how they go, if they keep dusting then red or yellow stuff it is  cheers guys.

  7. Well ive had green stuff pads on the front of my glanza for a couple weeks now and the braking with these pads is very good, only thing ive noticed is the DUST :) Dust dust and more F++kin Dust! my white wheels may aswell be black, ive only got to go for a small drive of say 25 miles and I get home and they are full of dust! now I know new pads are always dusty when they are bedding in but they have been on there for a good while now, anyone else experience loads of dust from these pads? cheers :)

  8. what ever stock is think its .6 so yea.just dont boot it staight away if its slow winding up to you set boost then you need more gain.adjust until it goes straight to the set pressure.unsure on those if thelower the number the more gain or the other way?hav a play and see.

Ok nice one mate, will have a play and see how it goes, thanks mate :)

  9. You can only boost above your actuator level, not below.

0.7 bar actuator with 0.8 bar via boost controller will work fine.

Got the actuator at 0.5 bar now and set one channel at 0.8 bar and the other at 0.6 works very nicely boost comes in so much smoother and a bit quicker now, havent played with the gain setting yet tho, hopefully I can get the spooling that extra bit quicker without getting any spiking :)

  10. Ive fitted a new boost controller and atm just want to run 0.8 bar but just wondered what my actuator should be set to? atm its 0.7 bar will it be ok to leave at this? also if I set the boost controller at 0.4bar and the actuator still being at 0.7bar will this still be ok and drop down to 0.4 bar? cheers :)

  11. I think the rally flaps look pretty good, aslong as you dont go too mad with the size of them, and have something stupid like turbo printed on them lol :D

Will probly go for a set of them, can always take them back off and sell em if they do look rubbish :D

Thanks for the help guys
