-
well if you look at the rev counter it is just below the 750 mark and it sorta varys at that point but the steering wheel vibrates like mad, and you can hear it stuttering if you stand behind the car and listen to the exhaust, cheers nick ;) .
-
well i have a small problem with my glanza, its idle is at 750 ;) which is a bit on the low side, but when the headlights are turned on ( heater and other electrical loads have no affect) it increases to 900 which is i think the factory idle??? correct me if im wrong lol, so i was just goin to try and increase the idle a bit by turning the flat head screw on the intake manifold?? ive heard it alters the map and timing is this true?? is there any danger increasing the idle with this screw? cheers guys starlybrusier ;) .

Alright mate, yeah i was thinking about the side exit out of the front bumper, but i had a thought of having the exhaust pipe starting just behind the front wheel then running along the side skirt ending just before the thick part of the skirt then having a slash cut on it, what ya think?? lol sound a bit extreme?? cheers nick
-
yeah that lonely cut out in the bumper is a major put off, but i just love the look of the side exit exhaust .
-
As you may have seen on my last post ive just been paid this month and so i will be spend spend spending on my Glanza. I want a nice exhaust system but the hks ones are silly money , i know they are good quality and you get what you pay for but they are simply out of my buget, so my next thought was a nice side exit but theres a few points i wanted to know about first, here they are : What performance gains will there be?? better than full system what sorta noise is it goin to make? will it be illegal? or is there some sort of silencer on there? will it be poping and the occasional flam
-
Cheers sicaln, had a nasty swolen throat and tonsilitus ( if thats how you spell it lol ) umm yeah the toy tuning actuator looks practicaly the same as a HKS one anyway and would be saving a few quid too , will defo be ordering one of these shortly mate, got to fit my boost gauge first tho. cheers nick .
-
Hey guys aint posted in a good while been ill and had a short stay in hospital lol but now im fit and been payed this month its time to start spending lol, im after an adjustable actuator because i think mine is on its way out and plus i wanna start tuning her anyway, was just wondering if anyone is using the toytuning adjustable actuator and how good actually are they??? or should i just buy a hks one?? cheers guys nick .

after a bit of testing ive found that my car idles at about 750 revs with nothing electrical on, then when you put on the heater it drops below 750 and the steering wheel starts to vibrate, but if i put my headlights on the car holds the revs perfect at 900???? any ideas peeps?? cheers
-
hi mate, my car if left to warm up with no electrical drain revs on the line below the 1000 revs, but is effected when the heaters put on, it drops just below that line and the stering wheel vibrates up and down, anything wrong with my car?? cheers nick
-
My car seems to idle low and lumpy, it sits on the line below 1000 revs, and sometimes the bloody steering wheel vibrates up and down quite badly especially when you put the heater on full, was this the same for you mate?? cheers nick.
