Well i finally got my Apiro filter in the post today ;) and what a piece of kit for the money ( well for an ebay 10 quid voucher lol ) its very well made and deffo doesnt look like a cheap universal filter, will be fitting it soon so will find out how good it actually is but atm im pretty impressed with it, cheers STARLYBRUISER .

well i went back to Custom exhausts today for my bracket to be fitted and to moan like a biach about the bends but he said it would cost megga bucks for the mandrel bends and theres nothing he can do, so i said " well in future i suggest you listen to what your customers actually asked for and give them a correct price to start with" then i left spinning up the starlet kicking gravel up at his windows i know i shouldnt be so harsh but hey i did ask for mandrels , anyway i went around the corner to prospeed exhaust ( FTW sparky ) and what a difference in customer service he was such a nice g

yeah isn't it, i wish i went to them now , but the down pipe he done at custom exhaust is truely amazing, its beefy as fuk, got an 8mm flange on it and having brace fitted saturday, just a pitty about the bends in the rest of the system because the back box is actually starting to pop a bit now, so it must need time to bed in, cheers, STARLYBRUISER

Yiur rite Rick, i dont have a mandrel bent exhaust i rang him today and stated that i did ask for mandrel bends throughout and he said that i only asked for them on the decat , i said that i deffo asked for them and i want them cut out and mandrel bends put in, he said he can do it but would charge me............................ 95 quid more!!! WTF this is when my head went F**kin POP, went straight into evil mode and got the owner to ring me, when he did he was nice as pie and said he didnt realise that i asked for mandrel bends throughout, and so when i go there saturday for my decat brac

yeah i will see if he will sort the dents out, if not then i will ask for a refund and then take it to prospeed, man i wish i would have gone to prospeed now

yeah man i want it to pop like yours, i think its the back box but i might be wrong, have your pipes got any indends on them from bending?

yeah i will get some pics up tomoz, im goin back there saturday to have the down pipe braced so i will ask him about it then

before the bend mate about 4 inches away i would say

so no matter how slowly or quickly you mandrel bend pipe it will always have an indent in it?? because i was just worried about restriction and performance loss its not that much of an indent and its not that near the bend either, the poping isnt critical lol its just i would like it to lol

Well i recently spend 370 quid of my hard earned money on a full custom turbo back system from custom exhausts ltd in cardiff, its 2.5" pipe work straight from the turbo the down pipe is braced and it has no silencers apart from the backbox which is a 4" exit. the only thing i have a problem with is the bends, he said he had to use a mandrel bender to bend the pipe work but just before each bend there is an indent? is this normal?? or has he done it wrong? also it doesnt pop as much as i wanted it, the back box was also made there and its got 2.5" pipe through it then a 4" tail pipe, if i had

IMO i think it looks no where near as good as the others, the other films were aimed allot more towards the cars and racing where as this looking at the trailer looks like its aimed at the story more, but hey i could be wrong, still looks pretty good tho .

what do you think about the way i got the pieps set up?? is this pointless as i think i can just have the actuator straight to the turbo housing cant i??

well i recently fitted my toytuning actuator and the new one has one outlet where as the standard one has two, so i used a "T" piece and had the two pipes ( turbo housing pipe and pipe from HI-LO solinoid ) going into the one to the new actuator, this has lost me the HI-LO button and i was wondering if i can just connect the pipe from the actuator to the turbo housing? as i think having the "T" piece in there is doing nothing at all??? also while ive posted this i just wanted to know is 0.8 bar the most boost i can run on a completely standard engine? cheers, STARLYBRUISER .

Thanks for the comments guys yeah there products dont look too bad actually, and i have ordered a Apiro torque filter off ebay, and it cost me................ Nothing i had some vouchers off ebay the other day for being a star or sum crazy shit like tha, so i used the voucher will let you guys know what its like, and if its crap well ive lost nothing really cheers guys, STARLYBRUISER .

Well im after an air filter and ive been browsing the internet and have came across loads of different makes and types, but there was one make that really caught my attention a company called Apiro, they make allot of different types of filters and also small things like oil caps and battery terminals, but there main items are there induction products, they look pretty good quality items and are very well priced, but i havent really heard of them or know anyone who has had any experience with them, has anyone on here heard or had any of there items? cheers STARLYBRUSIER .

nope no need to up the fueling if your goin to be running standard boost unless your goin to go over 0.8bar, then you will need to start with the fueling, also a boost gauge is essential to run one of these as you need to set it up. cheers STARLYBRUSIER

Well i finally go around to fitting my toytuning actuator and well first of all its a nice piece of kit ;) , the actuator spring is alot stiffer than the stock one and the adjustable rod is very well made and has an "R" clip to secure it to the wastegate instead of a stupid little "E" Clip that i think some people usually drop , the mounting plate is very well made and has a nice black finish to it and is certaily beefy enough to hold the actuator in place ;) . Only problem i encontered was i had to grind a slight bit off the weld on the mounting plate as it wouldnt pull up to the turbo flush
