  1. Jut read this whole thread! What an amazing car! Makes my glanza look like a toy Would love to know if it ever got 2bar, and if it reached 350? Oz
  2. Ill be there. Anyone know ehat time it starts, etc? Oz
  3. I like pizza ;) I also liked my last car (which was french)...106. check this out too..... I prefer my Glanzas handling over my 106 much less understeer. I couldnt go round a corner more than 20 fuking miles an hour without it understeering! Damn im controversial
  4. Its got some basic stuff about 4efte in it, but im not sure how tech an owners manual goes anyway?! The stuff I need id in there... bulbs, coolant capacity, engine checks, parts etc, etc. I think, as Rick said, its the jap toyota manual translated. As I said, does the job for me. It aint no haynes tho. Oz
  5. Correction... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-STARLET-Car-H...1QQcmdZViewItem does the job. Oz
  6. Hey man. from what Ive gathered, 9 times out of 10, its the plugs or leads. When I had the problem I changed both, and all was good. good luck. Oz
  7. I kept the hose connected to the rad, just took it off the thermostat housing. by the way Enzo, your car looks amazing in your sig pic! Do you have a thread with more pics? Oz
  8. Believe me Im no expert, but Im not sure how your get to the thermostat bell housing unless you remove the airpipe first. I guess you could remove the dizzy and go around, but it seems like a harder option to me. This is where your trying to get to... Also, I found it alot easier to take the housing off with the lower rad pipe and sensor removed, purely as they get in the way! There was very little play in the cable for the sensor. Also this way, you can completely remove the housing to inspect it for crud and give it a good clean etc. So once youve removed the rad plug and drained the rad
  9. Did mine today. Its not hard to do, but I think very easy is a bit of an over statment, you have to.. drain the rad take out the efi pipe take off temp sensor take off rad pipe take off bell housing etc etc Fixed all my probs tho. Oz
  10. thanks for all the comments guys! Next step *may be* the interior. thinking bout a leather retrim for the seats, will keep you posted. Oz
  11. your not alone mate. theres an insurance thred somewhere with loads of information. I went with A Plan. Gotta say theyve been pretty awesome so far. Oz
  12. Thanks guys! Im well chuffed with how it looks. slowly getingt the car to how i like it. need to get my personalised plates on next! Nice one for all the good comments. Oz
  13. Hey all, When I bought my glanza it was sitting on some vile 17" halfords shit pieces, so I saved a few hundred by telling the garage to keep em, and to shove some cheapy steels on my car. After being the self appointed winner of worst wheels at the rolling road session, I thought it was time to sort it out! I went for Oz Racing supertourismos 15" white, with toyo tyres. I think the wheels look pretty fucking sweet, and a bit of a different look to most glanzas, plus they say Oz (my nick name) racing on em, which is pretty cool lol! bit of an improvment lol! Oz
  14. Fook Me! I wanna see this. Not as much as I want to hear it tho lol I bet it sounds sweet! Oz
  15. Hmmmm tempting... May actually come to this one ;) Oz
  16. Well mine came with it fitted (I say fitted, read thrown in!), so its not like I shelled out for it or anything. So will the locking + TT work with any after market alarm, or does it need to be an alarm with tt built in? any suggested models etc? Sorry for the thread hijack! Cheers, Oz
  17. So is there a TT that allows the car to be locked? Mine wont lock until the engine is off. Is the GT's central locking system different to a glanzas? Oz
  18. Cool. Bet it looks awesome. was a nice tailpipe, not dustbin sized like mine Oh, and yeah, get the pics up! lol
  19. Quality day! Shame I couldnt make bluewater, but the rolling road was awesome! Good to meet you all. Pretty chuffed with that! Oz (the black glanza with the hubcaps!)
  20. Ill be hoping for around 140. Im pretty sure Ill win the award for worst wheels tho! Took those horrid 17s off when I bought the car, and am rolling on 14" steels complete with hub caps until the 15" Oz's turn up! lol
  21. MJ, Im game! Can you put me on the list for the RR, but not the meal. Cheers, OzGlanzaV - GlanzaV (FWD) Also, do we know times yet? Looking forward to it! Oz
  22. Hey all. Im weelll up for this, especially as I only live 20 mins away! Gonna check Im definatley not working, but will report back tomorrow. Oz
  23. Well I was being a bit optimistic here, the day after I wrote this, the car started to fire on 3. ;) Back to the garage I bought the car from. They replaced the plugs (didnt fix it), the dizzy (didnt fix it), then the ht leads, and it sorted the problem. Shes running well... for now
  24. Sonds like a knackered CV joint to me. If you had to remove the driveshaft when doing the cluch, you may have split the CV boot. Once all the grease comes out the dry joint starts knocking on full lock. Oz
  25. haha cool. well i guess ill file out the plastic to get double din. just thought it was a bit strange. anyone else had this? Oz
