we should take a leaf out of crx uk. They have the thing where it automatically changes what words appear depending on what you type, so you can filter out swear words but they use it for the power of good. Example, if you type "no1" it automatically changes to "im a twat" lol. We can learn from them! gay = i have issues with my sexuality c**t = hairy clam and so on lol.

pallett, a side exit on an n/a would be pointless, it would do nothing but lose power as you would have no back pressure in the system plus it would be deafening.

how much money do you have? you can buy an M-sport focus for about £250k if you like? the thing with motorsport is it requires alot of money to fund it, your probably better off doing go karting or something as that would only take up 10-20k a year. Rally cross is a possibility but again, lots of money required. What i was thinking of doing is like super hatch or something like that in a 106xsi, that could possibly cost you less than 10k a year to do which is pretty reasonable.

cant speak for a glanza cat, but gt's have lambda at the top and a cat temp sensor poking out very close to the bottom.

cheers rick, i was hoping that was the case. now i need to find a bung for the decat. and a vice to bend the bracing into the correct position.

In a bit of a mix up it seems the decat i bought has an unexpected sized hole where the cat temp sensor goes so it seems im going to have to run without one. Will it effect my fuel economy to not have it on there and if it doesnt can i do something to disable the cat temp warning light from coming on? Any input apreciated, thanks.

yeah you basically cant repair carbon without it looking shit or having the original mould. You just need to sand with an incredibly fine grain and whack some lacquer on top and polish that back with t-cut or something similar. I've made alot of stuff out of CF but we rebuild rather than repair when something gets damaged so im not too experienced with that lol.

hmmm, maybe i should changed the black electrical tape on my bumper for brown packing tape? was thinking about spraying the roof matt black as its currently faded to shit but im not sure if itl just look worse and draw more attention. maybe matt black roof and bonnet? that could be quite retarded though, input required.

know what you mean mate, ive got nur spec and will soon have zep decat and cruise-esque manifold, decent now its been completely rewelded and fettled. i was thinking about side exit in front of the front bumper but not sure if itl be a bit over the top.

Well funds were tight, so ive got a starletgtturbo manifold, although the quality of it is shit so i sent it to work to weld up and port the inside for extra strength and a couple of tenths of a bhp lol. I also got a zep decat and am trying to source an elbow to relocate my filter in the bumper. Im already running 170bhp with standard mani and downpipe but with a fair few othe mods, so im hoping there will be a significant increase in power!! my blitz nur spec is also necked to standard size so im going to modify it out to 60mm to match the zep for a couple of etra ponies.

forge is alryt but at that price your probably better off spending your money on a second hand better brand like hks or blitz or maybe even look at sard?

Hi guys, to begin with, i tried to find a suitable place to put this but its pretty broad sweeping so admin feel free to move to somewhere more suitable. anyway. Basically ive been collecting parts and still am including manifold, downpipe, filter relocation and a couple of other bits. Now i think the easiest way to change these is to take the mani-turbo-downpipe off as a complete uni and reassembling off the car then putting on the new assembled unit in one go. Now to do this it seems to make sense to also take the radiator out and il also remove the aircon. Ive already read the air con remo

out of interest, that samco elbow that youv got, is it for sale as i assume you cant use it on your new turbo??
