hey hey another auto cool cool! so no hot heat in the cabin? most likley be the matrix i am affraid and got to say its a reet biiattchh to fit! but id change the thermostat first! simple and cheap and coolant flush it may solve the issue! how do you fine the auto box??

indeed, yep going to be running 1 bar or mabus 1.1bar depends on how far i should push it.. the auto box is capable of 230/40 bhp so all should be fine ;) if not i will upgrade more than likley anyways. yea think i will paint it all lol if that is going to happen. just want to get it fitted now should be a interesting turn out

well me and my mate started to strip down the starlet firstly all the ct9 stuff was gone! while we where there doing that thought may as well get rid of air con so out came the air con lovley amount of space to play with now... was going well... ended up like this! well was supposed to get the TDO4 kit on but then came a huge problem the external wastegate would not fit due to the auto box been in the way so had to end it there i am affraid! was not to happy to say the least! my mate luckyley is at uni in the automotive/engineering sector so he said he would be able to sort it out for me no problem and he did ;) VERY VERY impressed with his work! also straightened one of the bolts on the manifold as one of them was bent making it not fit the mani well at all!!! heres pics of what he did! enjoy the final peace! the welds/newly braced that my mate done and the design that he done are actually SO much better than the way it was before killimats !! NOTE: it will be getting painted where it has been grinded off so chuffed with how it turned out considering the car was at my home and not at the workshop where the work had been carried out so was very well indeed! so the build will carry on this week so can get it finished

ehh ner if you read it properly i am saying the EXTERNAL WASTEGATE DOES NOT FIT! didnt mention anything else about the whole kit! anyhoo whats done is done so fuck it! indeed should of had some info that it does not fit auto etc....

indeed there was no space basically from the external wastegate flange on the mani was almost hitting the box

i actually have ya turd just thought id post to winge and to worn others so they do not bump in the same case

tbh i am not 100% sure about it been that much bigger than the manual box, if only the external wastegate flange was turned around 180degrees it would of worked but there was no way of it installing as was just wacking of the autobox

well what a fucking carry on today ripping the ct9 set up off the car to get the TDO4 set up on the go got the exhaust manifold on and i was thinking hmmm the external wastegate is extremely close to my auto gearbox tried to put it on and bang AND DOES NOT FIT the auto gearbox is in the way! so thats that foooked!! so now theres me with no car and the kit is not going to fit i wish bloody traders could give exact description of the products they sell sick of getting stuff what supposed to be "amazing" fit and it bloody well doesnt! not happy at all bout that but what can i do.... VERY lucky my mate is in the uni automotive so he is going to cut the E/W flange on the manifold and turn it around so the external wastegate sits the other way but still ffs so now this will not be done till next weekend and i have work on monday

right then go this today straight after work the van pulled up lovely fmic with piping so going to have to modify it to fit my tdo4 set up.
