    100798 - 3510 from a gt on my glanza project with a gt engine, it's been having a problem high in the revs of it misfiring and it runs much better with the map sensor from my 98 glanza which is the top number

  2. My glanza cuts out at around 4000rpm or anything more than full throttle, at low rpm put your foot down and the engine cuts, feels like fuel cut but it's only running .6

    There's no engine warning light coming up, it's just had a change from trd to magencor leads, made no difference, it's had

    New fuel pump

    New fuel filter

    New dizzy cap and rotor arm,

    It has Denso iridium 6 plugs which I'm gonna change but they look ok. Cars not been run in 6 years. Starts and ticks over fine and drives fine at very low rpm and minimum throttle anyone got any suggestion on what that problem could be? Throttle position sensor? Lambda sensor? There no engine warning lights coming up

  3. Has anyone used one of the fake Sard fpr's? There on eBay for about £25. I know it's best to buy a real one but has anyone had any experience with a fake one? I took apart a fpr one before and all that was inside was a rubber diaphragm so guess it can't be hard to make a good fake

  5. Just got my project glanza going, it starts up and ticks over lovely, timing is spot on, it's had new fuel pump and fuel filter. When driving it down the road it won't rev over 3000rpm and it pops and bangs and won't rev any higher. Anyone got any suggestions on what it could be? It been sat for 6 years, engines from a gt

  6. It's up and running now, i cleaned up the plugs and it fired up straight away, seems a bit odd, there Denso plugs looks like the gaps may be a bit to big on them. Everything on the cars been sat for over 6 years, maybe there was a bit of oil in the intercooler that ended up on the plugs which made it cut out

  7. It has a zisco Turbo kit with external wastegate, fmic, new clean air filter, my only thought it the plugs didn't seem wet after cranking it over. There is a spark I'll clean the plugs up to. I'm thinking efi fuse maybe it blew when the fan cut in? Would this stop the injectors working, therefore stop the engine starting?

  8. My glanza won't start, it's an on going project that's had a gt engine fitted but the engine was sat for 6 years. It's been running lovely till now. Yesterday I fitted a new exhaust manifold gasket, once fitted it started fine, I let it warm up so the fan cut in, once the fan cut in then it started spluttering, I switched it off now it won't start. Even when cold it won't start. The plugs are covered in a grey/black soot. It cranks over fine, but won't fire. It has a few bangs come from the exhaust but will not run. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Right been working on a project glanza I bought from eBay, just put a low mileage gt engine it which hasn't been run for 6 years, cars been running and ticking over a few times now, ran lovely, just changed the exhaust manifold gasket started it up let it get warm for the thermostat opened, the fan cut in it then started spluttering so I switched it off now it won't start, anyone got any suggestions? there's a spark and cranks over fine just won't fire
