car is running standard boost, just under 0.7bar on the gauge.i took the dump valve off the other day and went for a spin and the gauge was going over 1 bar on full throttle!it wasn't doing this all the time just now and again.I've refitted the dump valve and its back to normal.anyone got any ideas on what could have caused this???

first up i got my renewal quote and its £300 more expensive than last year!!! how the hell does that work out...another year no claims and it goes up!!! took my gt for mot earlier today and guess what?...it failed! needs new drive shaft gaiters and i can't afford anything at all because ive lost my job and to top it all off my tv's just gone pop!! not a happy bunny
just got back from the pod, best i managed was 15.935 @ 89.13mph, my gt is virtually standard but to be fair the start line was really greasy,most cars had trouble getting away!its first time i've been but defo going again
i think it would be cheaper in the long run. to get the 1.3 to gt four power the engine will need strengthen along with gearbox etc and then theres the mods to get it to that power. whereas 240bhp without doing anything to the engine sounds good.i don't want to sell the gt, i like it to much!!
