  1. Make sure you give me the link once you've done it though.
  2. Upload it to photobucket as it was and I'll see if I can sort it for you.
  3. I've seen the bits, and it definitely will look sexual!
  4. Lovely clean example of a Glanza mate. What did you have before? Can I recommend a cleaning product, Meguiars Tyre Shine, can't remember the exact name. It comes in a clear bottle and the stuff is purple. Should stand out well. Smells lovely and makes the tyres shine like they're new.
  5. Sorry mate, was in a funky mood at the time and was trying to be funny, I admit I failed. On the other hand, looks like a fun day, bet the neighbours were a bit worried though.
  6. Interesting that. Which free translator can I use to understand this?
  7. Thanks for the comments guys. She's been stored in the garage since the pics were taken and only driven 3 times and it was dry each time so is still just as clean Need to take the wheels off sometime and give them a seperate clean as they have some baked on brake dust etc.
  8. Sorted, if anyone can better it though please be my guest!
  9. Thanks mate!
  10. I flew out to Scotland from Essex the other day to meet olive from UKSC to take her Glanza off her hands, sorry again olive! It took 9 hours to drive the car back, and about 80% of the journey was thick snow with very little visibility, and some very slippery parts on the motorway. It was worth it though, and I'd do it again if I had to. As some of you may know olive had the Varis bonnet but I decided against it as I like the standard bonnet and also had reached my maximum budget. Anyway, here's what the car's had done so far: Volk Wheels with Toyo tyres Blitz Exhaust Blitz Turbo Timer Blitz Dump Valve Blitz Induction Kit Fully adjustable Tein Coilovers Toad Alarm S/S Cooling Pannel Driving 9 hours on salty, gritty roads meant that it was rather urgent for me to get the paintwork cleaned up. I therefore took the day off work today to detail it, which took several hours and cost a fair bit in cleaning products too! Here's the products used: Wash: Euro W Lambswool Wash Mitt Poorboy's Waffle Weave Drying Towel Poorboy's Super Slick and Suds Clay: Poorboy's Clay Bar Poorboy's Spray and Wipe Detail: Polish - ClearKote Vanilla Moose Glaze Glaze - Poorboy's White Diamond Glaze Sealant - Poorboy's EX-P Wax - Collinite No.476s Meguiars foam applicator pads Microfibre towels And some pics of the final result:
  11. Thanks in advance!
  12. I know it's only another response but again, can't believe I've had to see this thread and feel completely sorry for you.
  13. The website is: http://www.brilhoel.com/ sadly it's not related to the car. Better quality picture located at: http://www.ralismadeira.com/antigo/?p=1895 However it's still not great and it's all in Spanish or something.

    Snow

I picked up my Glanza last night and travelled from Scotland to Essex, Scotland had less snow than anywhere else! Bloody awful and saw many accidents, the outside lanes were sludgy ice and people sliding all over the place. Also couldn't see a single sign on the motorway, our country really isn't built for heavy snowfall.
  15. I appreciate the car is a Jap import, but is there anywhere I might be able to find a review of what someone liked/disliked about the car. I don't mind if it's from a personal or professional perspective, I'd just like to know how people think about it. I saw a slight review when it was compared to a modern Golf GTI if I remember correctly, they were however clearly biased towards the Golf. Anyone know of any videos or web articles with this? Thanks!
  16. come or should i go?
  17. Hi mate thanks for the response. The car will be a private sale, is this normally a good or bad thing? I am looking to spend a maximum of £4000 although this specific model is £3500. Comes with the following mods: HKS Super Dragger exhaust HKS Mushroom induction kit Converted to MPH Turbo Timer Hi/Lo boost button Along with the standard air con/electric windows etc. I am looking for one as standard as possible, however I cannot see insurance being too fussed by those mods.
  18. However, I don't know what I should be looking for, I am looking to phone the owner up now to ask some questions as the description is pretty vague, so far I have written down: Any problems with the car or turbo, smoke etc? Does it have a Japanese service history? (Been in country 3 months, 1 owner) Are all the MOT/import certificates complete with sale? Any other questions I should ask are greatly appreciated guys, hoping to ring tonight to get my answers. Thanks in advance!
  19. Thanks a lot mate.
  20. Hope these are okay. White: Black: (Sorry, can't get them to come out much better) Gold:
  21. Done a quick impression for you, I know the second one doesn't look right but the lights curve and this would be a real pain to get rid of, here goes:
  22. Hi guys, I have now owned a 1.25 MK4 Ford Fiesta for over a year, and am looking to move on to a Jap Turbo. I am interested in both the Glanza V and GT Starlets, however I prefer the styling of the Glanza so it'll be most likely this is the route I will go down. I have been browsing Pistonheads the last couple of weeks and came across this site in one of the adverts, I have signed up hoping you guys will be able to help me search for the perfect Glanza and then become an enthusiast when I get it! One thing that I would like to ask while I am here, is I have noticed an import site (todoroki-trading.com) seem to have a lot of Glanzas at very reasonable prices. Does anyone know anything about this company and whether I should avoid them? (Sorry if external links are not allowed to be posted here, purely looking at which buying route I would like to go down!) Thanks in advance guys.
