So is meshing the only option? I cant see how a small filter can restrict it because surely the inlet is the deciding factor on how much air can be sucked in so anything the same size or slighty bigger than that cant make any difference!?
-
Oh yeah, wot size is the inlet on yours??
-
I didn't know they had a warranty? Did you get some knid of paperwork with yours then?
-
I know but i'm just thinkin if we get some kind of summer next year, which we probably wont but hey, i dont wanna boil! Also its handy for demisting the windscreen!
-
Dont you think one of those little filters would be better though?

Hello mate, just to let you know you've posted in the wrong area, should have been in turbo tech or similar anyway, what exhaust system you got? Your getting boost creep by the sounds of it. Best thing for you would be either a decent boost controller i.e Blitz DSBC, an uprated actuator would be a good idea aswell. Failing that you could port your wastegate. You must have a very free flowing exhaust system to be experiencing fuel cut with what your running i.e cat and standard air box! Or your actuator may be uber fooked!! Hope this helps. Oh yeah and definatily get a boost guage if your gonn

Thats the thing, i hate the efi pipe, its got to go!! So wouldn't you recommend just sticking a really small filter on the inlet, this is the sort of thing i was thinkin of : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ITG-TRUMPET-SOCK-SMA...%3A1|240%3A1318 cut it down to fit obviously

I recently bought a Hybrid from Enzo and am looking at the airfilter relocation kits. As far as i can see you have to remove the air-con to do this which i dont want to do. Dont ask me why i just dont want to for some reason Dont really want to mesh the turbo so i was wondering can i just get a really small filter to stick on the inlet of the turbo? Anyone know where i can get one, plus will not having the filter relocated to the bumper loose me power? Cheers guys and girls

Cheers adds The vac hose on mine is quite small as well! The cable tie is pretty tight, i'l try an get a pic up, easier said than done with the light now though. Its always dark by the time i get home

Ive got the original SSQV and i took mine apart and stuck some thick washers in to make the spring tighter. Made a bit of difference but now ive just got a good old cable tie round the little hose that goes in the back of the dump valve and it chatters and then dumps a bit, sounds ube!!
