  1. Looked megga when I saw it at Gaz's the other day Webby. By far the best about by miles, plus customer service is second to none. Only problem with going to gaz's is seeing yours makes me want to get my car back out!
  2. No fella hes got an astra GSI he beat the bike engined mini in the final last year. Seems to be doing well, just won his class at Time Attack today too. You done much 1/4 before? or just mainly aiming to win handling?
  3. Really like this mate, Spoke to you at blyton on an MLR sprint series after you owned a lot of evos and scoobies Good luck at TOTB next weekend, my mate's won the handling circuit last 2 years in a row but isn't entering this year as hes competing in time attack this weekend. So should give you a better chnace of winning
  4. All down to who maps it really been doing 1.4bar for ages now on standard internals. A good ecu helps as well, not keen on all these piggyback efforts my mapper said if it was his own car he wouldn't use a piggyback.
  5. A little update, fitted a gizmo boost controller with rpm dependent boost. Also had it mapped by Garry @ GR Performance now running 1.4 bar for over 2 months still on standard pistons and rods with no problems.
  6. Yeah GSI running a GT30, He struggled to put power down tbh lighting them up on road tires. Hes not had it RR but estimate is 500ish. It looked like you where struggling to put the power down. Was you running full boost in 1st and 2nd?
  7. No problem mate, Glad to know the launch control helps. I'll be using mine when I next go on the strip then. Yeah lots of people struggling with wheel spin. My mate beat his best yesterday though doing an 11.7 at 122mph in his astra.
  8. Cheers mate, Mines the white EP82 at the top with the carbon bonnet
  9. Saw this yesterday mate. Did well with the 13.5 was a good run. Plenty more in it though from what I saw
  10. Don't rate em lad, Mines just packed in. didn't have it too long and was slipping on power. Going for a CC clutch see how that holds up.
  11. Thanks for the reply chaps, its been holding temp fine and hasn't used any coolant either since I took it to my friends garage. So I'm just going to keep an eye on them both for the time being and if not get the head gasket done. TBH though with all the problems I've had in the last 2 years after 6 years of ownership I'm looking to buy something else.
  12. ive not got one anymore mate, the plug kept leaking so I had the hole welded up
