I've just had mine done at my bodyshop mate and it cost me £100. For larger vehicles i.e 4x4's etc has been known to cost £300+ Thats for a full removal of surface rust and full underbody underseal with Waxoyl with wheel arches included, I had the choice of clear or black (both same product) and went for clear. They remove your exhaust and spray it on. Its meant to last 2 years before the next treatment. Hope this helps D. Joz

She looks really nice and clean Ric mate. Keep up the good work and get the rest of the kit on. Rotas sound good too. Red Eps are for winners. Joz

The standard ones would be black rubber David. Nice find. Joz

Jamie the answer to your question has already been answered 2 or 3 times... The Soliel is NOT a suitable 4wd donor car because it is NOT 4WD. You want an EP85. Thank You Joz

X2 - If you want a noticeable caliper upgrade the change from the smaller ones to the later calipers wont cut it. Go for the twinpot calipers, they are a good balance between cost and effectiveness. Joz

EP91 clutch? / standard exhaust bore size?
Jozinobi replied to 200sx-Starlet-Jay's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
is the glanza clutch the same as the N/A one? like same shape and part number ect or are they different? They are different sizes and are totally different part numbers. Also what size is the standard glanza exhaust bore? The standard glanza exhaust bore is 2" Joz -
You'll just be buying yourself £1800's worth of problems Kalem mate. You dont need a glanza to get the family about, project car yes. But if you must buy one, bide your time and get a mint example. Joz

I was talking to Idrees last night MJ and Im pretty sure he told me that you didnt have to remove the dials cluster at all or the speedo cable. You do need to remove the large dial surround tho. Joz

Glad you got sorted Pete Sounds like a very satisfied customer to me. Joz

Pointing out the obvious is fine man but you may find Im the closest link when talking about the obx and 4efe combination regardless of system used. I just urge you to try a combination on the 4EFE motor yourself. Although it was a powerflow with the obx as thats all I had access to system wise at the time, it didnt go bad at all and was even better when I evened the odds by adding the 5EFE. I've always been about experimentation with my motor and Im not afraid to do it. I know people say there is not a lot of difference between 4E and 5E na but I believe there is and from now on its all g

Mine is an S which is meant to be the base model but the majority of them DO have power steering mine included, but thats it. Manual everything! Check your logbook, it may have the model on there, mine does (1.3 S) Joz

No worries man. You'll find some toyota garages are not as easy to work with or as freethinking as others. Anything that needs modified they usually dont touch. What model EP91 does she have bro? CD, Sportif, Sol, S? Even with models of the same year there can be differences so nothign is gospel. Joz

Get a quote from Toyota first Tucka. Also you might find they may not even want to touch the miles on your clocks for obvious reasons. I have a mate called Chris (rrmonkey) who turned back the mileage on my paseo ones for me, I'd be happy to pass on his msn addy to you, he may be able to help you turn back the clocks and the work isnt expensive. You'd just need to send him the clocks and pay for both sides of postage. StreetracerStarlet (graeme) also knows the process. I must stress there are varying results with wiring sr and paseo clocks. Some have had it easy and some difficult like m

Your best bet right now Pete is to call Dave Burwash as he has the fastest response time right now. Call him on 07852 295221, tell him what you need and he will sort you out with the correct parts. I'd recommend 3G 10 groove or 3G 20 groove rather than standard items and also some aftermarket brake pads to match. You may as well upgrade for a similar if not cheaper price than what you would have bought from Toyota. Its not ideal to use standard brakepads with grooved discs so make sure not to skimp. His website is www.starletgtturbo.co.uk where you can check out what is available. Hope t

Nice additions Geo on the shoutbox and unanswered topics mods. The unanswered topics one will certainly improve response times and awareness. I find all of the unanswered topics are useful and relevant (i.e. not just the technical ones), if its possible to have one button for general and everthing else unanswered, and one button purely for unanswered technical threads? Just that way NOTHING gets missed out. Just an idea of dual filtering bud, if it aint possible or not to your liking dont worry bout it. Just an idea. If two buttons appeared up there it would be a bit cluttered, so it may

Its best to ask guys from the USA because they have used them the most as well as pacesetter being most widely available from there. There was a huge 5EFE and related engine tuning scene in the US not long ago. The people that I have asked over there have said the Pacesetter is poor quality and poorly designed not to mention the black paint comes off after short use. You are asking people from the UK but only a handful have used the pacesetter and the obx and most probably used them on the intended 5EFE. No one uses these on 4EFE mate. I tried the OBX on my 4EFE for a good while and I didnt
